Keyboard

The CM Storm Devastator gaming keyboard included in the package uses a standard layout and comes without any special and additional macro buttons. Only the top part of the keyboard features a couple of media keys including to the volume control and the classic stop / play / forward / back buttons. The dimensions are rather small but despite the fact that this is an entry-level product the weight is appropriate and reaches nearly 1 Kg. The keyboard is solid and difficult to bend or break. The materials are of good quality and the surface uses a mixed finish with matte and lucid black. Inside the bundle there aren't any accessories or the palm rest but the body of the keyboard provides a small area where you can place your wrists while typing.

The back of the keyboard is very simple, and follows the design of the product. There are four rubber feet that are more than enough to keep the keyboard still on the table, and two more feet to regulate the inclination. The USB cable is 1.8 meter long and it is standard and sleeved in a plastic material. On the back you can also find a sticker, which features standard technical information and disclaimers.

The CM Storm Devastator is a membrane keyboard, very quiet and well illuminated. The backlight of this model is red, and it is clear and uniform.

Mouse

The most interesting feature of the mouse is definitely its body, which is made from parts with different grips as well as rough and smooth surfaces. The shape is pretty classic with average dimensions. The materials are well designed and the overall build quality is good. The mouse has six buttons and a wheel covered entirely with rubber and almost frictionless. Right behind the wheel you get a dedicated button for DPI settings. Once plugged, the mouse gets the red backlight which covers the entire body.

The mouse does not use a laser sensor but rather an optical one which is able to reach 2000 DPI. Close to the sensor, there are four small glide pads arranged in a way which ensures a low friction but good maneuverability. The cable is 2 meters long and coated in rubber.
