Overall, the Cooler Master Nepton 240M is a solid product,
which has been kept completely in black and makes it suitable for almost
any build. Cooling performance in combination with the two 120mm PWM fans
included was a little lower than what we expected. Since this is one of
the slimmer all-in-one watercooler, you can mount it in virtually any
system that offers space for two 120 millimeter fans next to eachother. |

The installation is simple an pretty straightforward. With two included
mounting kits, where one is for Intel and the other for AMD sockets, it should be quite easy even for less
experienced users
to mount the cooler properly in a heartbeat. This cooler is even
compatible with Intels old socket LGA 775. The thermal paste comes in a
syringe and is of good quality. |

The Cooler Master Nepton 240M offers good cooling
performanace in all our tests. With the fan driven at 7V and 12V
we find the top quarter of our cooler charts and also in PWM mode the
cooler ranks in the same range. Comparing the Cooler Master
Nepton 240M
to other 240mm AiO's the performance is about equal. |

Noise Levels |

Our tests show that the fans included in the bundle are
silent at 7V and well audible at 12V. Rotation speeds at 7 and 12V are 1'140 and
2'300 rpm. In PWM mode, the fans speeds are rather high, causing the
noise level to jump to 40.1 dBA under load conditions. |
