Closer Look
At
a first glance, the Naos 8200 shows that this is a harmoniusly designed and ergonomically shaped gaming mouse. This mouse has been built to fulfil the needs of right-handed people,
with the shape that allows you to hold it with all your fingers. In addition to
that, the Mionix Naos 8200 features a very grippy surface with a black matte finish. The materials used are of excellent quality, and even the soft touch is well made and very comfortable.
The back of the Naos 8200 features the Mionix logo with RGB backlight. The
Mionix Naos 8200 gaming mouse features a total of seven buttons which are fully programmable via software.
The top of the mouse features two classic buttons devoted to the DPI rotation as
well as a solid wheel backlighted and almost entirely covered with rubber. All
the buttons are placed in a good way, even the top ones are easily reachable and
not prone to accident clicks. The weight of the entire mouse is at about 100g and the Naos 8200 is well balanced. Mionix
decided to use Omron switches on this model, at least as far as the left and right buttons
are concerned, but the all the other switches are made by TTC. This choice allowed
Mionix to save few bucks but still retain a decent level of quality since Omron switches guarantee high reliability and longevity.
Back
Mionix decided to equip the Naos 8200 with a PixArt ADNS-9800 sensor. The maximum resolution is 8200 DPI, which is more than enough for any kind of gamer. The laser sensor is placed at the center and if you are looking for additonal weight, you will be disappointed, since
this gaming mouse does not have that type of customization. Netto weight of this mouse is 99g, which is actually
puts it in the light category. Mionix decided to provide the Naos 8200 with big glide pads made
of teflon, which means they will last very long. A closer look at the cable reveals that it has been braided an the plug is gold plated.
