Conclusion

General + -
The Mionix Naos 8200 is a very solid product, and overall, we were impressed by the build quality and the very good shape. The RGB backlight is well done and pleasant to see. So far this is one of the best built gaming mice we have ever come accross. The build quality is excellent, all the materials are perfect. The weight and size of the Naos 8200 make it suitable for palm grip users. Even the pads are excellent, generous in size and good on any surface. For our test we also used the Sargas 400 gamepad which allowed us to get very good performance and smoothness.   - Weight

Performance / Ergonomics   + -
As usual, we used the gaming mouse in both 2D and 3D environments for our tests. After a few days of use with standard office applications we can say that, despite being a gaming mouse, the Mionix's product behaves very well in those scenarios as well as in gaming. We tested the Naos 8200 with RTS and FPS games without any problems. With only 99g of weight, the Naos 8200 is a very light gaming rodent and thanks to its particular shape it is also very comfortable.   - Comfort - Palm Grip

Sargas 400   + -
In order to test the perfomance of the mouse, we decided to use the mousepad provided by Mionix, the Sargas 400. The mousepad is made of microfiber and is compatible with both laser and optical sensors. The mousepad is shipped inside a black cardbox. Overall, we believe that it is a good product with a high definition textures and a slip-resistant base of excellent quality. The Sargas 400 measures at 400mm x 260mm x 2mm.   - Perfomance

Software   + -
The Mionix's software is a pleasant surprise. It is well-structured, easy to use and with a tons of options. You will be able to change the aesthetics as well as all the functional aspects. In addition, the software is very light and even its RAM usage that is very low.   - Easy to use

Recommendation / Price   + -
If you are looking for a highly customizable gaming mouse with seven buttons, then the Mionix Naos 8200 is worth a closer look. The Mionix Naos 8200 is available at the official site for 90 euro, which we think is a bit on the steep side.

The Mionix Sargas 400 mousepad is also available on Geizhals with a price of 12 euro, excluding shipping costs. This is a decent mouse pad, which features a reasonable price tag as well as an adequate performance.
