Even though it is "only" a mid-tower case, the Dead Silence DS200 looks big. The case is made
with SofTouch finish on the top and the whole front panel. The DS200 is available in several colors. As mentioned, the bundle
includes two covers for the upper part of the case, one designed for
silence while the other is designed to ensure better cooling of the components. Both side panels are big and heavy
and coated with sound absorbing material. The top panel features the I/O panel with two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, audio jacks, as well as power and reset buttons. In addition
to those, the top panel also features an interesting fan controller that is able to drive up to three fans. The backside panel is pretty standard as there is a 120mm fan, the I/O opening for the motherboard, seven expansion slots, two rubberized holes for liquid cooling systems and the opening for the standard ATX PSU. On the bottom side we found one opening, covered by a big dust filter, allowing it to draw more fresh air inside the case as well as four hard plastic feet used to lift and stabilize the DS200. |
