The EVGA SuperNOVA G2-1000 has longer cables than PSUs usually have. With its 8 PCIe connectors this PSU can also be used for more exotic applications like (Multi GPU OpenCL/CUDA).
The connectivity is amazing for a 1000W PSU - thanks EVGA!
Two of the Sata cables have three connectors and two have only two connectors each.

The Specifiacations are basically good. The 5VSB converter is a ICE3B0565 which is rated only for 12W. EVGA did rate the output power at 15W. However it is very likely that this converter is able to deliver the 15W so we do not rate this as negative. Interesting is only that the Super Flower Leadex (same controller) is rated with 2.5A on 5Vsb.



The EVGA SuperNOVA G2 1000W is 80Plus Gold certified. This means, that the efficiency of this psu should be over 87% at 20% load,
over 90% at 50% load and over 87% at 100% load.
