First true 64-bit octa-core SoCMediaTek has now officially announced its newest MT6795 SoC, a first true 64-bit octa-core 4G LTE SoC with support for 2K displays.
Based on Cortex A53 designA leaked MediaTek document has now confirmed that the company is indeed working on at least two 64-bit SoCs which should be available by the end of the year. According to a leaked document which showed up at Mydrivers.com site, both chips should be based on the ARM Cortex A53 design which means that these will be aimed at mainstream and entry-level market.
