Futuristic design

We arrive in the third week of our Rig of the Day series and so far we shared several configurations, from huge cases to small mini ITX solutions. Today it's time for a Corsair Carbide 540 cube-case, that we reviewed a month ago. If you missed it, it is here.

There was quite some awesomeness

Here is a summary of what you missed this week! We have received many configurations via email, we thank all our fans and next week we will continue uploading new photos. Stay tuned!

Paint? No thanks, better a sheet!

After some configurations based on custom liquid-cooling loops, now it's time for a rig equipped with an all-in-one watercooler and something quite unique on the outside of the case, since there is adhesive sheet in camouflage design.

Once more Chris has created a market overview article on graphics cards. This time he focused on the GeForce GTX 760 and put them all into one huge list. In case of every single graphics card you can find the complete specs as well as the price - if there is one. If what you want is to get an overview on all GeFroce GTX 760 graphics cards out there, then you most definitely have to have a look at this list.

Godzilla

Seems that black and white is most appreciated by modders! Even today, something black and white, a giant Corsair 900D, obviously with water cooling, is making it into our Rig of the Day series. Once you start to look inside you'll see there is something more than just black and white going on, since, there is also quite a lot of red.

Glass & steel

After a couple of configurations in black and white, today we show you a Corsair Graphite 600T orange! The modder of today is italian, his name is Davide and he has put inside the mid-tower Corsair a liquid cooling system of a rather generous size.

A modded Prodigy

Yesterday we've started this week's rig of the day series with an enormous case. Today it's time for a rig based on a mini-ITX mainboard and a BitFenix Prodigy case that received quite some modding.

AMD with clean record

Yesterday night ocaholic's Christian Ney started to dig into the latest bug with Windows 8, discovered by hwbot.org. His approach was to find auf wether AMD and Intel systems are affected by the RTC issues or not and he found out something particularly interesting.

Overclocking Flagship

With the Maximus VI Extreme, ASUS presents its new flagship motherboard regarding Intels latest Z87 chipset. This board is the one everybody wants, it comes with the most features and the highest quality components. Obviously it features the ROG color scheme. A few days before the launch ASUS sent us a sample and we've already take a lot of pictures for you.

Huge case!

How can we start into a fresh week if not with an extraordinary case? Today's rig of the day is based on LD Cooling's Little Devil case, which is simply enormous.

An exclusive desk

The configuration of today is something unique and truly crazy! It is not a benchtable or a custom case, but a complete desk, built from from scratch and equipped with two high-end configurations. You have probably already figured out what we are talking about, since it is a pretty famous mod on the web.

Luca took himself the time to create a list, which includes all APU's, AMD has released upto today. In this listing you find all the specs for all Richland, Trinity and Llano APU's. Apart from that there are the desktop as well as the mobile versions listed.

It's quite a long time actually, since we've last published a review on a mousepad. Today we had a closer look at the 1030L from Func, and in the following reivew we're going to let you know what we think about this thing.

Owners of AMD graphics cards, which can cope with up to six displays but don't have six display outputs, had to wait a long time until they can make use of the Eyfinity 6 feature. A bit more generally speaking the Club 3D MST hub offers users the option to attach no less than three independent displays to one DisplayPort connector. In the following review we're going to show you if this thing actually does what the manufacturer says.

Chris made the effort to double check with all graphics cards manufacturers which GTX 780 cards they have available these days. Sorted by manufacturer you can find each and every GTX 780 graphics card out there in these lists. To every card there are pictures, specs and automatically updated price information.

Since a few years, ADATA is pushing hard when it comes to realese high-end overclocking memory. With their ADATA XPG V2 2x4 GB DDR3-2800 CL12 1.65 Volt modules, they have yet another hot iron in the fire which is just waiting to receive the appropriate treatment.

When Intel or AMD release new processors, then gamers are most likely to ask themselves wheter their old CPU's are being outperformed by quite a margin of if it's safe to keep their CPU for yet another year. On year back, last summer, we've published a series of articles where we compared different CPU's with eachother. This year we're going to release a series of articles again where we check how much of an advantage the new Haswell CPU's really are and how you're old CPU stacks up against the latest chips from Intel. To keep things simple we're going to compare two CPU's per article.

If you're looking for a cheap gaming mouse, then Corsair might have the right thing for you. For 38 Euro you can get a gaming rodent, which features a very good optical sensor. Now the only question that remains is, can the handling and bundle convince?

Once more we've updated our GPU charts. One card, which was actually missing, was the Radeon HD 7790. Meanwhile we've been able to add this pixel accelerator. In our GPU charts we only list reference models, which makes it possible to quickly get an overview which chip ranges where.
