In our CPU price watch we keep you updated on processor prices on a weekly basis. In order to do so, we monitor prices of 18 different CPUs. Also create graphs for you to instantly see where prices have increase or declined.

We start the 15th week with another BitFenix Prodigy. This time it doesn't come from a reader but it is the rig of one of our staff members. The setup has undergone several changes over the past few months, and at first it was based on an AMD K10 CPU, then a 960T and finally a Intel Sandy Bridge 1155 processor.

There was quite some awesomeness

Here is a summary of what you missed this week! We have received many configurations via email, we thank all our fans and next week we will continue uploading new photos. Stay tuned! If you wanna join, send to us a message at our official page: facebook

We end the 14th week of rig of the day with a system based on a full tower Raven 02 case from SilverStone, which has been kept in a orange. Inside there are high-end components, a SLI of a few generations ago and a liquid cooling system to chill CPU and GPUs.

In our SSD price watch we keep you updated on graphics card prices on a weekly basis. In order to do so, we monitor prices of 45 different SSDs. Also create graphs for you to instantly see where prices have increase or declined.

Meanwhile we've also put together a price watch for hard drives. In this case we're monitoring prices of no less than 49 hard drives. Over time we will be able to provide graphs to show you price development.

Scratch build

A few weeks ago we showed you a so called scratch build. Especially modders in Italy set themselves the target to create a beautiful mod from a case, that would actually be ready for the scrap yard.

In our GPU price watch we keep you updated on graphics card prices on a weekly basis. In order to do so, we monitor prices of 21 different GPUs. Also create graphs for you to instantly see where prices have increase or declined.

Made ByKier

Today we present Kiers first build from scratch, where there are high-end components, a huge watercooling system and a lot of mods. The chassis has been mad from aluminium and acrylic. Remember also to check out all the other pics on our Facebook page, this rig is incredible!

With the Dark Power Pro 10 850W BeQuiet offers a high end 850W PSU that achieved the 80 Plus Platinum certification. Its insides come from Seasonic (OEM), which certainly can be considered as a plus while the suggested retail price is set at 220 CHF, roughly 183 Euro.

With their G Pad 8.3, LG have released a new tablet with 8.3 inch screen, that features a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel which results in a pixel density of 320 dpi. Other than that there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and an Adreno 320 graphics unit. All this hardware has been packed into a really decent case, where the back has been mad from Aluminium.

From CircularCore

CircularCore is an Italian modder who sent us pictures of his latest project based on Haswell and the Corsair Obsidian 750D with window. The processor and the two video cards are cooled by a liquid cooling system that consists of two radiators.

Another rig from Paul Tan Design

It is not the first time that we share a configuration that is inspired by a car or directly based on components of a car, and today we are pleased to show you with Paul Tans latest rig! Paul has already shared with us some of his mod, but AventadorJ is really crazy.

Case in 29 inch rim

Menwhile we really featured many different mods in our rig of the day series, no matter if it were benchtables, cases built from scratch, refurbished scrap cases, ... but so far we haven't seen a PC put into a 19 inch MAK rim. If you like car tuning as well as modding, then this is the thing mod you definitely have to look at.

With their Vector series solid state disks OCZ has some very solid and well performing drives in their line-up. Today the US maker of SSDs launches the successor, which goes by the name Vector 150. Ahead of the actualy launch we received a Vector 150 with 240 Gigabyte for testing and we're quite curious what it is that the Americans were actually able to improve, on the already good, Vector drive.

A gamer simply can't get enough graphics power in their rig, which makes the upgrade question omnipresent. To show you whether it makes sense to upgrade from one generation to another we created this series of articles, where we will compare graphics cards from different generations. Today we're having a close look at the differences between the GTX 580 and the GTX 780.
