Some of you will probably remember the EVGA dual socket motherboards, especially the SR-2 for two LGA1366 CPU and the latest SR-X for LGA2011 CPUs. These models define the aboslute high-end and allow building exceptionally powerful systems.


ocaholic.ch is going to host an international Overclocking Competition in Zürich, Switzerland this week-end from the 30.11.13 to the 01.12.13. In cooperation with ASUS, Cooler Master, Corsair, der8auer, Intel, Samsung and Seasonic they've invited several famous overclockers from DACH area and special guest Semjons "TaPaKaH" Avdejevs from Latvia.

The Transformers saga is quite famous and we are sure that many of you know it, including the movies from the past years. The rig of today takes its name from the Decepticon's fighter named Starscream. The modder has used the CM Stacker 830 case and made quite a few changes to it.


Meanwhile we've also put together a price watch for hard drives. In this case we're monitoring prices of no less than 49 hard drives. Over time we will be able to provide graphs to show you price development.


In the past few months we've been sharing loads of rigs, where there were either gaming rigs or overclocking setup or simply things of beaty. Today it's time to add another category and we're talking about a reall nice and decent HTPC.

It looks like Ronnie loves the Cosmos and all the different versions of it. Today we share his latest mod based on a Cosmos SE. In this case he made changes to the interior and the exterior, while using high-end components as well as a substantial liquid cooling system.


We believe this is one of the most clean and beautiful rig, almost a crime to close it inside a case! The modder has chosen to use rigid copper tube and other elements painted in bronze, obtaining a perfect color scheme.

Believe it or not but it is (or was) a Lian Li V350, fully modded and featured with tech lines and LED. Bukake V4 uses a liquid cooling system completely entirely made by EK water blocks.

We end this week with Julien's rig from NGTech.ch, which is a Swiss shop for watercooling components and watercooled systems. In this case he decided to send us quite a few pictures regarding his watercooled socket LGA1366 setup, that got palced in a Cooler Master HAF 912 case with window.


Some of you will know the brand Caselabs, a company from California relatively young, joined the industry in 2010 with high quality cases but not for all pockets. Today we share another configuration that uses a Caselabs chassis, to be precise it's the Merlin SM8.

Black and orange

Today we have the pleasure to share "Electric Orange", a setup which uses the glorious Antec DF-85 case with some modding. Hanoverfist, from OC3D, has modded and painted the entire case; from the top to the bottom. In the following link you can see the full worklog.


We continue our rig of the day adventure with another mini-ITX configuration, but this time it is not a Prodigy but a much smaller case. The Cubitek Mini Cube is an aluminum case designed for all gamers who wish to have a fast PC in a small form factor.


Enough?

With their latest - and apparently also greates - Rampage IV Black Edition motherboard ASUS is stepping up the game in the high-end motherboard market once and again. This new Socket LGA2011 flagship model ships with like everything enthusiasts, gamers and overclockers can possibly be dreaming of. After having take almost 100 pics, we now created no less than 228 screenshots from the exensive BIOS of this board.
