Re: The Corsair VS650 PSU - $ 82

Yes, 650 Watts is more than enough for your rig. As Luca suggested I would also choose a smaller PSU, due to higher overall efficiency and thus lower power consumption. The components you listed will - by quite a margin - not be burning more than 100 Watt when you system is in idle. Under full load power consumption will be somewhere around 150 Watts. 650 Watt is therefore more than four times that. With PSUs and their efficiency the story goes like this: power supplies are most efficient when at 50% of their max load. This would be 325 Watts. power supplies are least efficient at lowest possible loads.
In the end it would be ideal if the typical power consumption of your system matches 50% load of your PSU. In this case the PSU would work at highest efficiency and you'd be wasting as little power as possible. Keeping in mind that typical power consumption of your system will not be more than 100Watt, you could basically go with a 200 Watt PSU.
But I guess you might be overclocking your CPU and you might also add a graphics card at a later stage. In this case I would choose a 450 Watt PSU with highest possible 80Plus rating.
