Fractal Design Define R2 XL - Review #1
Deutsch

I finally found time to start with the review on this case. So far I've been unboxing it and I've taken some pictures. Later today I will upload the pics and we'll publish the picture madness news, and I will also keep you guys updated here in the forums.

So far I like this case. It turns out that the side panels are super heavy, because of the noise dampening material Fractal Design has been using. Futhermore this case offers pelnty of space of course and the overall appearance is also very decent.

Bel design e tanto spazio a disposizione.

Do you think that could be necessary a CPU power extension cable?
Case looks really big

In my case it wasn't a problem. I was using a 600Watt Seasonic PSU in this case.

How many fans are included?

I really like cases like that, similiar to LianLi but cheaper. I know that materials are differents but seems well finished and with a elegant design, that never tires.

When will be ready the review? Iam looking for a replacement of my HAFx..something of elegant i7 930 + GA-X58A-UD7 + 3x2GB Geil 1600C8 + MSI GTX670 + AX850 + HAFx

I'm looking forward to finish the review by the beginning of next week. I would have to count the fans. But I think there are three.
Imo Fractal Design manages to make nice cases at a reasonable price point that attract quite a broad audience.

To be honest, I didn't really like the HAF cases ... The design, the dust issues, ... it just wasn't a case for me.

Nice, I will wait then!
I have HAFx because I wanted a full tower and was in special offer, but now after years I don't like it anymore. Too dusty and uncool with all LEDs i7 930 + GA-X58A-UD7 + 3x2GB Geil 1600C8 + MSI GTX670 + AX850 + HAFx

Basically I don't think it's a bad case, the HAFx, especially if you got it for a lower price. But yeah, the design just isn't timeless and it would definitely make me want something else quite quickly

Really nice review-
I want build a super silent rig and watercooled it.

According to the review, there is enough space for a radiator on the top and that is very useful.
Also about design and style, black & white! Tubing, sleeve (nzxt or bitfenix alchemy) and fans white (silverstone? fractal? arctic?).
