Re: S3 Monster ITX Build #11
@rewarder...Thanks for the kind words! I like having an ATX system available as well...I've been thinking about either using the RV-03 I just picked up or building a Dimastech bench for my shop. I agree with you, it is definitely more practical, especially for changing out or testing hardware.

@Luca...Thanks! I'm a big fan of the Silverstone PSUs...I haven't had the chance to use the new 650, but plan on using one in my next mATX or mITX build...The Prodigy builds are close to being done, just have to finish a few small mods (install the window panels, sleeve the cables) and they will be ready...

Re: S3 Monster ITX Build #13
Just to compare the S3 to the size of the Prodigy...they are really similar size wise. The S3 is the same size as the Prodigy with the handles and a little deeper.

Fillport and Temperature LED

This isn't a big update, but is certainly an important one...

I decided to do something a little different and add a fillport this time around. I normally don't do them, so I figured "why not?"

The fillport is going to be placed in the drop-in rad mount plate in the roof of the case, but will still be covered by the case top panel. Getting a rough idea of where I want it...

Re: S3 Monster ITX Build #16
You definitely know what you're doing!

I see where the fan controller went now I guess it's there since it's kind of in the center of the two rads and now you have the shortest ways possible to route the cables. I also like to see the drop in hole, this makes the filling process much easier.

The Prodigy really isn't a small case. Have you ever had a closer look at the SilverStone Sugo SG09?

Re: S3 Monster ITX Build #17
I've been doing this for a few years...

Normally, I don't do a fill port on a case this big as it's usually not necessary...However, I figured I would do something a little different this time around.

I would never term the Prodigy as a small case. Volume-wise, it is nowhere near Intel specs for SFF (<19L) The SG09 is a decent case, I just am not a fan of the way it looks though. If it had more style, it could be a pretty decent case.

Here's my last uSFF case...Wesena ITX2

Separate the wires..I wanted to keep the shielding wire..so I stranded that as well...
