Differences and similarities between the two cards:
Same PCB, same power design, same cooler, different BIOS, different memory chips, GHz Edition has a full cover backplate.
The quick test:
Memory frequency unchanged (1502 MHz), GPU clock fixed at 902 MHz/0.987v on both cards.
Power consumption under FurMark of the entire setup:
