So far we have seen only LGA2011 models based on mATX/ATX/EATX formfactor and never on the smallest ITX form factor, excluding dedicated solutions like the Shuttle X79.
ASRock during CeBIT unveiled a new ITX model with two memory slots, PCI-Ex 16x, 6x SATA3, SATA-Express and probably a M.2 slot maybe placed on the underside of the board. Due to the huge size of the socket + retention kit, the company used the "Narrow-ILM" system which uses differents mounting holes.
Considering the particularity of this card I decided to start a little research on systems compatible with that retention kit. First, we have to take a look to the socket; many manufacturers, like Noctua, offer some very good FAQ:

There are two different types of ILM (Independent Loading Mechanism) for Intel’s LGA2011 based Xeon CPUs: Square ILM with 80x80mm hole spacing and Narrow ILM with 56x94mm hole spacing. The mounting system of the NH-U12DX i4/NH-D9DX i4 3U/NH-U9DX i4 is fully compatible with both types:
In other words:
Of course there are all the server coolers that are compatible with this motherboard, but what about more fancy solutions? If everything is right, already this
Noctua should be compatible and doesnt look so bad! I will do some research and update this thread with some list.
