The Intel SSD Toolbox is drive management software that allows you to:
- View current drive information, including: Model number, Serial number, Capacity/Usage, Firmware version, Drive health, Estimated drive life remaining, SMART attributes.
- Optimize the performance of the drive using Trim functionality (also in RAID)
- Update the firmware on a supported drive to the latest version
- Run quick and full diagnostic scans to test the read and write functionality of the drive
- View your system information and hardware configuration
- Run Secure Erase on the drive
- Check and tune your system settings for optimal SSD performance, power efficiency, and endurance (optimize some OS settings such as Superfetch/Prefetch, Defragmenter)

Tested version: 3.1.8

I did mess around with it only with the Intel SSD X25-M 80GB for now. So unfortunately some functionalities such as the SSD Optimizer and the "Estimated drive life remaining" aren't available. I will update and test this one whith a more recent drive.

So far the Secure Erase and Firmware Update functions work well.

Drive Summary, Drive details, SMART details, System Tuner and System Information don't require an Intel SSD to be available, other functions do.
