My main system Never finished
#1
Hello!
This is not an ongoing project, it's just a showcase of my system.
I'll be introducing you to my main system. If you're not here to read the whole story, feel free to jump right on to the pictures.
First off, I didn't give it a 'real' name, because I don't feel like I have the privilege to give it a name. I also can't come up with a good one
. So it's just Never finished. The motive for this name is exactly as it stands, the system is constantly being upgraded with new hardware. Well, at least once a year.
The system itself went through a LOT of crazy mumbo jumbo, but after a few years, it finally came together for good. The reason for that is, last year, I said to myself, I need to have a personal computer, not some sort of a bench that's not even stable enough to work most of the time. Yeah, I was that noob too. I wasn't even sure if it will be stable when I was doing important work! Then, one day, I've had it with BSOD, and decided I will have a quiet, stable and good looking system beside me. And I did just that.
The oldest of its parts is the case. It's been with me for the whole run, ever since I began building it. I can't count how many mods I made to it. Some were good, some were so bad, I was scratching my head thinking ''what the hell was I trying to do'', but in the end, it's still standing strong.
Specs are:
Intel i7 3770k @ 4.5GHz 1.26v [delided]
ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe
G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB 2x4Gb 1600MHz @ 2133MHz 9-11-10-28
MSI GTX570TFIIIPE/OC [Silent profile, shroud painted in blue]
2x Samsung 840 Basic 120GB SSD's [1 for OS, 1 for games]
WD 3TB Green Power [Storage, newest member of the system]
Corsair HX750 [Custom sleeved, painted fan in blue]
NZXT Tempest EVO
All case fans are Noctua.
Watercooling is all EK.
This is as far as the introduction goes.
On the the pictures. The system is a little dusty because I took these pictures just for this topic. I haven't done any cleaning for months now.
This picture, in my opinion, is the best picture of my system I have ever made.

The side panel has a custom glass window on it.
I have LED's mounted on the CPU block and reservoir.
And the last one's the backside. I don't normally show the back, but I'll give this topic an exception.
It's taken me 4 years to finally make, what I wanted to have beside me.
PS: This thread was made by the request of Luca Rocchi! He gave me the boost to make it.
