Acoustics

Headphone

Corsair chose to equip their gaming headset with two very solid 50 millimeter drivers. Those are capable of offering a decent audio experience. Therefore we like that it is possible to set these drivers up in a linear way. Furhtermore there are numerous profiles from Corsair already. And we have to admit that those profiles are not bad at all. In fact we're sure that there is at least one profile that is suitable for most of the users. Otherwise there is still the possibility to create your own profile.

Microphone

From a technical point of view the microphone is very good. The bail where the microphone is attached to isn't flexible at all which might be a bit disturbing. The distance to the mouth is ok and people on the other end of the line will understand you lound and clear. Also the noise cancelling is working well and there will be no white noise on the far side.
