Mounting

To mount Noctuas NH-C14 properly you'll find two different mounting kits, one fits Intel sockets and the other AMD sockets. Installing the cooler wont need a lot of force. The cooler can be mounted easily but it still fits perfectly and there is plenty of pressure between the CPU and the coolers base plate.

As we can see on the pictures, taken with a Gigabyte board the NH-C14, the first DIMM slot becomes almost useless. For the tests we mounted the cooler on an ASUS P6T on which you can use all the boards six DIMM slots. Therefore the coolers size shouldn't be any bigger.
