At a first glance ASUS leaves a very good impression with its P8P67 WS Revolution. Especially the digital power design as well as the space between every PCI-Express x16 slots are major plus points. Furthermore the board looks absolutely marvellous. We very much like the color design and to us it very appealing. |

Generally the ASUS P8P67 WS Revolutions' Layout is very well thought. Once more very practical are the angled SATA connectors as well as the power- and reset-buttons. Also the debug display is very useful in case you should have issues with a component in your system or the board itself. Furthermore the placement of the PCI-Express x16 slots is also well thought an therefore nothing needs to be criticized at this point. The only thing we'd have to mention is that the DIMM slots are quite close to the CPU socket which might cause incompatiblities with big aircoolers. Another thing which can be mentioned is, that if you install a graphics card in the PCI-Express x16 slot it will block all the connectors at the bottom edge of the board. |

Talking about performance the P8P67 WS Revolution definitely shows good numbers. In the theoretical 3D benchmarks as well as in all the game tests the board is quicker than the Deluxe version from the same series. One can observer the same when running benchmarks which stress the memory subsystem. Even the results gathered with Super Pi and wprime show no glitches. | - Memory bandwidth - 3D performance | ||

Overclocking the ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution is very easy. Corresponding settings can be found quickly and even beginners will achieve good results within short time. Like the P8P67 Deluxe this board also supports the ASUS TurboV software which, if you decide to use it, automatically finds the highest stable CPU frequency. Therefore the software first switches frequencies by increasing the multiplyer. After the system crashed the same procedure starts with the busclock. After another crash TurboV has determined the highest multiplyer and the highest busclock and of course the highest stable CPU clock and will boot the system again the the last operating settings. | -

Of course the board can also be used as the basis of a workstation.
