6-8-6-24 - Timings

As we can see on the chart the modules at CL6 perform best when the Vdimm hits 1.7 Volt. With this very moderate voltage increase it was possible the reach 900 MHz which is equivalent to twelve percent more clock speed.

8-8-8-24 - Timings

945 MHz, the highest frequency using CL8 timings, was reached when providing the memory kit with 1.725 Vdimm. The difference between the highest CL8 and the highest CL6 results is very small which leads us to the conclusion that Mushkin optimizied the memory kit for low latencies at standard clock rates which in these cases are 1600 MHz.
