Overview

Despite its rather compact size, the inside of the Vortex V3 can house an ATX form-factor motherboard, in addition to the mATX and mini-ITX form factor. The motherboard tray does not feature pre-soldered standoffs and there is a big opening behind the socket, so that you can install aftermarket cooling systems without taking the whole motherboard off. Around the tray, there are four openings for routing cables and there is some good space between the motherboard tray and the right panel. Like all new cases, the power supply space is big and placed in the bottom part of the case with the fan facing outside. On this model you can install up to three 3.5" HDDs and three 2.5" HDDs/SSDs. For our system, we chose to use a longer graphics card and an all-in-one water cooling system. As you can see from the pictures below we have not encountered any problems with lack of space, dimensions or assembly and all the components are correctly placed inside the case. Despite there is not that much available space for wiring, thanks to curved bulkheads, it is possible to hide more cables than expected.
