Totally ASUS equipped the X99 Deluxe with eight angled SATA ports. All ports offer 6Gbps bandwidth and six out of eight SATA III ports are natively wired to the X99 PCH. The two additional SATA 6Gbps ports are wired to the ASMedia controller. Other than that there are also two SATA Express ports, natively wired to the PCH as well as an M.2 x4 slot. You'll also find practical onboard power- and reset-buttons as well as a debug LED on this board, which is definitely something you can expect from todays high-end board.
