Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have Matahei Peretia's Angel to Evil build. Here is what he had to say about it: I'm not a PRO so just be cool, this is the first time I do the modding and watercooling which I learned through tutorials / videos on Youtube! 3 months later and I have completed this project. Big thanks to my wife for her patience!

Using a quality chassis for your desktop PC is important for a number of reasons. In the deluxe segment, chassis above 70 euros, it's difficult to find something that's truly subpar. With chassis that cost less than 60 euros, there is much more variety in terms of quality. With a little research you will be able to find a very decent chassis that's affordable, performs adequately and also has a nice range of features. We tested 14 chassis in this segment to separate the wheat from the chaff, and made some interesting discoveries.

Today I will be taking a look at the latest entry to the Thermaltake chassis range, they're all new Urban S31. There are two main models for this chassis, one without a side panel and one with, but I'm lucky enough today to have hold of the edition with the side panel window.
Priced at around £90 for the windowed edition, or £85 for the non windowed its safe to say that this chassis isn't cheap, as you approach the £100 mark your entering some extremely competitive territory, where anyone spending that kind of money is looking to build a mid to high-end performance rig. For this kind of money you want support for modern features and components, good style and design, great build quality and usually something extra that makes the chassis stand out from the crowd, something that isn't so much a gimmick, but something that adds true value to the product.
Thermaltake have a fantastic reputation in the PC market, not only from their award-winning chassis designs, but also for some of the best power supplies and CPU coolers and with many years of knowledge under their belt I'm confident that they can make a great product.

There are a lot of different sizes of PC cases available today. Some prefer huge rigs where they can pack everything possible into giant chassis, for others space saving designs are more attractive. The German company, Cougar is back with another option for gamers looking to put their components into a new micro-sized case. Enter the Spike which is a Micro ATX form factor light weight case. The Spike is Cougar's smallest case to date. We are going to see how the features and performance stack up on the Micro sized newcomer.

Today we are going to take a look at the Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 which directly replaces the Arc Midi case that we looked at in-depth last year over here. The Arc range of cases are designed with performance users in mind as they don’t focus specifically on noise suppression like Fractal’s original define range, focusing on cooling performance instead.

During the last two years PC Case manufacturers seem to have but a single goal in mind and that's to release towers of unprecedented quality, size and features aimed almost entirely towards hardcore gamers, enthusiasts and professionals. Certainly that's a very good thing for consumers especially since never before have we seen the release of overwhelming towers like the massive Corsair Obsidian 0900D, the breathtaking Cooler Master Cosmos II, the elegant Lian Li PC-X2000FN and the modern NZXT Phantom 820 inside such a short period of time. The only downside such dreadnaughts have is their hefty price tags making them extremely hard for the majority of people to own something which every manufacturer out there is well aware. So to cover all consumer segments NZXT has several models in the Phantom line including the Phantom 630 Ultra Tower which they released as the next best thing for people who can't or don't want to spend way over USD200 for the top of the line Phantom 820 Ultra+ Tower. Thus prior to checking out the Phantom 820 Ultra+ Tower we decided to see just what the Phantom 630 Ultra Tower has to offer and then in turn compare it with its larger brother.
