We are looking at a Gamer Case from Spire, with a somewhat special name - 2X.6011. The Case is based on a midi-tower with an aggressive design. You find eight 3.5 inch drive bays, three external 5,25 inch bays and five fans as standard - foru with blue LED light. The X2.6011 case also has a large side window, built-in fan controller, USB 3.0, built-in dust filters and much much more.

In the eTeknix office today we have the X2 6018 (although I'll refer to it as "X2" for this review), from Spire and with a price of around £50 / $70 it's set to take on the more budget friendly side of the market, the sweet spot for the general consumer and mid range performance systems.
Spire is not the biggest name in the tech world, at least not here in England and that's fine, big reputations don't exactly happen over night, but that does mean I'm going into this review unaware of what to expect from Spire in terms of quality and features. However, Spire do have a good team behind them and I have heard of them a few times before, as well as seen a couple of their chassis in use while at LAN gaming events, so I'll take that as a sign of some good things to come.

In this review we have tested this mid-low end case, built for videogamer.

With a URL like SpireCoolers.com, it’s not hard to understand that Spire are most well known for their heat sink fan combinations. However, you may have heard they make cases too. Today – despite it being a holiday, yes, I’m dedicated – I’m reviewing the Spire Savit 6005B. It’s got a snappy name and a matt black exterior with a few USB ports.

As we have seen lately, there’s quite an interesting trend happening in the enthusiast PC cases market. Most definitely you can get a premium case with great features and awesome design… for $100. But when it comes to low cost cases in the range of $30-$35, it used to be that the options available were not impressive… not at all.

After finishing this review, I found the average online retailer price for this case to be around £50. This puts it up against the Antec 300 – a personal favourite of mine. Other than the SwordFin’s louder cooling, I think I’d choose SwordFin over the 300 any day. It is definitely better put together, and its steel construction helps with rigid stability.

nVidia has always loved a bit of GT action. Going back as far as the original 6800 series SLi cards, the GT version was extremely popular. So, on that basis, is the new chassis from Thermaltake any surprise? KitGuru sneaks in for a close-up.

Dieses Case ist unter dem Focus "Silent Computing" entworfen worden. Viele Funktionalitäten und eine gute Dämmung gewährleisten einen flüsterleisen Betrieb, bei guten Kühleigenschaften.

From a recent poll regarding external storage, it is clear that a significant number of respondents are making use of external storage options using interfaces such as USB and eSATA. One of the drawbacks of USB 2.0 is its lack of speed, while eSATA is not nearly as pervasive as USB. With USB 3.0 found in more motherboards, chassis (Fractal Design Define Mini, SilverStone TJ08-E), and expansion cards (SilverStone EC01), it seems like a perfect time to take a look at SilverStone’s new USB 3.0 3.5” external drive enclosure, the TS07.

Hand assembled only days before Computex 2011, the TJ12 is at least 12 months away from production – but is already attracting serious attention
