BitFenix may be known to many of you for their sleek and innovative case designs, which allow them to stand out against the competition. It is their attention to detail, both inside and out, that enables them to catch the eye of potential consumers. Today, we will be looking at their latest ‘Raider’ model, which looks primed to continue the tradition of enclosure design excellence. Lets find out if it succeeds.
Quite a long time ago i announced that i would also perform product reviews based on requests made by you, the readers and although many things have happened during the past months (mainly the launch of this new project) i haven't forgotten about that and so a while ago i started looking into my emails for review requests. Well it seems that many of you are actually not bored (who knows, some may) by my extremely thorough PC Case reviews (at least pictures-wise) and have asked for a review of the latest midi tower manufactured by Bitfenix to hit the market called the RAIDER. Of course as some of you know if possible i always try to cover your requests and so the Bitfenix RAIDER Midi Tower is modeling for us today.
Oggi vi presentiamo la recensione del nuovo modello in casa BitFenix, il “Ronin”. Appartiene alla tipologia Mid-Tower con schema di progettazione ATX, quindi classico, però nonostante questo presenta una particolarità degna di nota, finiture di elevata qualità ed anche una buona predisposizione interna. Das BitFenix Ronin darf von seiner optischen Orientierung als Nachfolger des erfolgreichen Shinobi bezeichnet werden, auch wenn sie sich in vielerlei Hinsicht nicht ähneln.
BitFenix is a fairly new name to the enthusiast case market, however their cases have been getting a lot of attention as providing great cases for budget builders. Their main focus is on building high quality enthusiast grade cases, offering a multitude of features while keeping the price down. The case that we are looking at today from BitFenix is called Ronin. Ronin features a dark, stealthy design with wide hardware compatibility to suit your ever changing gaming rig.
BitFenix have quite a solid reputation for their chassis products, they've always offered some really nice quality designs that don't cost the earth, just take a look at the BitFenix Prodigy for example. The Ronin looks set to continue that trend of high quality design at a reasonable price and it will be interesting to see what BitFenix have to offer.
The Ronin is priced at a mid-market friendly £70 (prices taken from Google Shopping) and that sets it along side some tough competition from the likes of NZXT, Corsair and Cooler Master, all of whom have award winning ATX chassis for around the same price, so the Ronin will have to offer something unique to stand out amongst the crowd. Fortunately, BitFenix are promising some unique features here such as their Stealth Cover and SofTouch surface treatment. For those who don't know what they are, we will be taking a closer look shortly, but why not check out the rest of the specification first.
As we can see, there is some good component compatibility available, with room for a good amount of storage, cooling as well as ATX, mATX and mITX motherboards. With that out of the way, lets push on and take a look at what else the Ronin has to offer.
BitFenix nous a déjà prouvé par deux fois qu'il savait faire du bon boitier. Après s'être attaqué à la tranche supérieure, puis médiane, la marque jette maintenant son dévolu sur l'entrée de gamme avec le Shinobi. Un nom qui nous rappelle de bons souvenir, mais qui pour BitFenix se doit surtout de rimer avec succès, car l'entrée de gamme est un marché très important, mais au combien concurrentiel. Alors, que vaut ce nouveau Shinobi ?
The BitFenix Shadow is a basic case, but has all the important features for most builds. It looks sharp, comes with 2 120mm fans, lots of 3.5" drive days, USB 3 ports, a door at the front, water cooling options, red/blue LED at the front and more. Sweet little affordable case!
