A silent case may seem like a "sales gimmick" to some people, after all how can a case make noise? While it is true that the case itself isn't loud it can help transmit sound. After all it is the fans and other components that actually generate the noise. But the direct noise is only half of the battle, many of the sounds you hear coming from your case can be traced back to all of the moving parts and their affect on the case itself.

Cooler Master is at it again, this time they are launching a successor to the very successful CM 690 case. Today we will be looking at the CM 690 II. This is pronounced like, "six ninety-two". There are two models of the CM 690-II the regular and the advanced model. We will be reviewing the advanced model.
It would be fair to say that over the past couple of years we’ve seen some very interesting chassis design innovations from Silverstone. They haven’t been afraid to think outside the box and have come up with some very impressive cases in the process. Like many other popular Micro-ATX cases, Raidmax has opted for a dual chamber design.
