If people left things alone and didn’t continue to innovate we would all still be driving around in Model A’s rather than the car options we have now. Lian Li has impressed me every time I have had a chance to check out their cases, but they haven’t been sitting on their hands. I recently had their new PC-10N come in. With their new rail design for motherboard installation and with its corners cut off the PC-10N does have a few new features while sticking with the all-aluminum design that Lian Li is known for. Of course I can’t leave it at that, I had to dig into the case and see what it is all about.

In Win are setting an incredible pace for unique chassis designs recently, but while last week saw us taking a look at the glass and aluminium wonder that is the Tou, this week sees us looking at something a lot more practical and consumer friendly. I am of course talking about the In Win GT1, a budget friendly mid-tower that can be picked up for as little as £55 here in the UK. So it looks like we have a mid tower on a mid budget price range, so this should be something that caters towards quite a broad range of system builders in terms of features and performance, as we often find the best value for money comes from mid-market products.
In Win are known to draw heavy inspiration from non-pc products, much like with their awesome D-Frame chassis which was based around the chassis of a motorbike. In the same spirit, the GT1 mid-tower draws much of its design inspiration from a sports car and it will be interesting to see if its performance is as energetic as its design inspiration.

Today we are going to take a look at the Streacom FC5 EVO Fanless chassis which is designed for those people who are looking to build a completely silent home theatre PC. This takes things one step further than most HTPC cases which are designed to be low-noise, as there are no fans at all in this particular case.

The H230 is one of three NZXT's cases in their Absolute Silence line. These include the H230, the H2, another mid-tower, and finally the H630, an "Ultra Tower". Each of these have slightly different specs. The H230 is the entry level case in the Silent Line, two models are avaialable, a black and a white model. The review sample received has the part number CA-H230I-B1, which is the black version; the white version has part number CA-H230I-W1. Read on to see what we think of it!

Years ago most every PC you came across was beige in color and a tower or desktop in size/shape. As things have progressed we saw that slowly move from beige to black and we now see a lot of manufactures offering white as well. It has happened so much other component manufactures have taken notice and we now see everything from RAM to power supplies that also come in white to match. When it comes to size, things have changed as well. We now have a range of options from large builds down to small table top PCs. Today I’m going to take a look at the Fractal Node 304 white. We have covered the Node 304 in the past but I’m excited to see what it looks like in white.

The Gigabyte Sumo Omega (GZ-ZSUCWP) is a new midtower gaming case, one which I greatly look forward to building in. The Sumo Omega from Gigabyte has quite a few unique and interesting innovations straight out of the box that I think can be a real head turner when looking for a new case. At 232mm x 526mm x 510mm the Sumo Omega is a largish mid-tower case. It looks even larger than it is with the shield shaped 200mm fan slot on the side and the angled top vents, which contain 2 x 120mm fans, all with a very bright and attractive blue LED. The front mesh panel also has 2 x 120mm fans with blue LED lighting. Each set of fans comes with its own preinstalled fan controller with three positions, off, low, and high.

Earlier this year we went hands-on with the R4 from Fractal, a mid tower solution to the Define product line. We were quite pleased with the humble case, the simple Fractal facade silently housing a myriad of features. Our one complaint was the weight of the chassis, to which Fractal responded by sending us the R4’s big brother full tower, the XL R2. I'll be installing a full ATX building and, against better judgement, showing it off at our upcoming LAN party.Take a look with us, we could use an extra hand lifting.
