AeroCool was founded back in 2001. They produce a lot of different PC components
including Cases, Power Supply Units, Keyboards and Cooling. The product we are looking
at today is the AeroCool Mechatron Black Edition Case.

The entry-level case of Antec’s gaming series line-up looks to offer an alluring amount of performance at a very modest price tag. Can the ONE dominate at a price point where its sibling – the Three Hundred – once reigned supreme?

In this review we will be looking at the latest and greatest case from Silverstone called the Raven 2. As the name indicates this case is a second generation Raven chassis that shares many of the same fundamentals established by the original Raven. We had a rare opportunity to see a working prototype of the Raven 2 at Computex and were impressed from the start.

Aerocool are working hard to raise their profile in Europe and we have reviewed a handful of their products recently, including the Aerocool Strike-X 800W PSU. Today we are looking at the Aerocool Mechatron which is part of the PGS B range of Chassis which stands for ‘Performance Gaming System Black’. This is also known as ‘the Ultimate Gaming Series’.

When Intel introduced the Thin Mini-ITX form factor with the DH61AG board, we were impressed with the performance and potential of the platform; however, the innovative form factor lacked any accompanying chassis to take advantage of the extra thin profile. Fortunately, that situation is changing with the introduction of LIAN LI’s PC-Q05 which supports the new Thin Mini-ITX form factor.

We look at the latest SFF storage-centric chassis from SilverStone. Enter the DS380. Take a look as Tyler tells us all about it in this review.

At KitGuru we have covered MasterCase 5 from the time it appeared at Computex and again during our recent visit to the Cooler Master European HQ. It has been a long few months and now it is time to get away from words about concepts and instead dish up a review of the finished PC case shortly before it hits the shelves of your local retailer.

As a reviewer of PC components, I would like to first start this introduction off with a bit of insight. PC components tend to fall into three different categories: Budget components, performance components, and I-have-too-much-money-to-spend components. You follow? Let me rephrase. Budget components are produced by manufacturers with the goal of providing the best performance-per-dollar. Performance components are released into the market comparably around the same price, but geared towards providing pure performance, innovation, and refinement. Last, but definitely not the least, is the I-have-too-much-money-to-spend kind of products. These products are those targeted at consumers that really have no budget in mind, but are just looking for the best of the best with simply have too much money to spend; hence the name I gave it. Today, however, I seem to be in a bit of a dilemma. Cooler Master has given us a fresh chassis, the Elite 431 Plus, and it seems to be a hybrid of a budget and a performance case. Looking at the price of around $50 at the time of review, it is definitely priced as a budget case. But on paper, this baby screams performance. LED intake fan? Hot swap HDD X-dock eSATA bay? Internal USB 3.0? Black painted interior? The perfect acrylic windowed side panel (No joke!)? The feature list on this case continues to amaze me. But there must be a catch, right? Well, I guess you'll have to read on to find out.

It wasn’t long ago that we took a look at the Strike-X Xtreme mid-tower and here we are again with another Aerocool product, and this time we have the budget friendly Strike-X GT. There are no shortage of options at the more budget friendly end of the market and for around £50 you could pick and choose from a massive range of styles and features, certainly a lot more to choose from than there was a few years ago.
There is nothing wrong with having more choice on the market but with fierce competition in this part of the market you have to offer something unique to break through at retail, so it will be interesting to see what Aerocool have to offer us here today. So without further ado let’s get straight to the good stuff and see what the Strike-X GT can do.
