Thermaltake Chaser A31 Thunder Case Review The Chaser A31 Thunder, or A31 for short, is the latest in the TT Chaser series and firmly targeted at the eSports crowd. The A31 is designed to bring a combination of cooling, performance and expandability normally found in the full size chassis to this mid tower design.

The Thermaltake Chaser A31 Case has lots of drive bays, plenty of fans can be installed, comes is 3 colours, nice styling, USB3 ports, lots of room to work, cable management, tool-less design & has great build quality. A fantastic case at a decent price!

Thermaltake’s mid tower Chaser A31 chassis is built to compete in a mid-range war zone that is laden with gamers. Can the Chaser A31 case’s features allow it to shine in an overcrowded market?

We have been on a Mid Tower kick here lately with case reviews and a few have left us impressed while others leave us scratching our head with odd design choices. One of those cases was the Urban S21 from Thermaltake, a company generally known for good, solid case design. Today Thermaltake is back with another mid tower offering in a slightly higher price range, the A31 Chaser. While the color of the Thunder Edition was enough to catch everyone’s attention at CES, I will be putting the Chaser through a more thorough examination today.

A few years ago, Thermaltake released the BlacX. It was one of the first (if not the first) hard drive docking stations for sale. Thermaltake was the company to really push the product to market. Now, Thermaltake is upping the ante by supporting two drives at once.

It's been a year since our last Thermaltake case review, the Chaser MK-1 full tower. Those familiar with some of the features of that model may be pleased to learn that Thermaltake has incorporated many of those same options into their new Armor Revo cases. Things like the built-in fan speed and light control, top external hard drive dock, pivoting base feet and removable mesh filters are carried over directly. The chassis layout is also very similar, with the same four bay front and large 200mm front, top and side mount fans.

With its bold white on black color scheme the Snow Edition is packed with features leading Thermaltake to proclaim "The Legend is Back". I can definitely agree the styling choices are bold but case designs are a truly personal choice.

The Thermaltake Armor Revo Gene Snow Edition Case looks good, great build quality, plenty of drive bays, external drive dock, headset/headphones holder, cable management, window and fan option for left side panel and more. Also, there are two color options, white and black.

The Thermaltake Armor Revo Gene is a mid-tower case in targeted at mainstream users. Thermaltake designed the Armor Revo Gene with aggressive styling, including aluminum wings on the front bezel, large feet to raise it off the ground, and LED logo in the top front with a breathing effect. The Revo Gene supports up to four 5.25” external devices, one external 3.5” drive, and five internal 3.5” or 2.5” devices. The top of the case also has a 3.5” or 2.5” hard drive dock for quickly accessing a bare hard drive. The cooling system is robust and includes a front 200mm fan, rear 120mm fan, and top 200mm. There are also optional fan mounting locations on the side for a 200mm fan and bottom for a 120mm fan. The headset holder on the side of the case is one more feature making the Revo Gene ready for battle.
