Continuing our spate of Antec case revamp reviews, today we have the baby of the bunch, the Nine Hundred two v3. Sure it’s a few hundred Antec numbers below the Twelve Hundred we reviewed recently, but it’s a lot more than the P193 right? In numbers anyway.
Cases
The Antec Nine Hundred Two is a new, revamped version of the Nine Hundred. The original Nine Hundred was a great case but it wasn’t perfect. Antec have since looked at how they can make the case even better and have then implemented these improvements into the Nine Hundred Two. This means that the Nine Hundred Two has removable dust filters, external fan controllers (rather than internal) and the inside of the case has been painted black – in a similar fashion to the Antec Twelve Hundred. These improvements are just a few of the added extras. So has Antec managed to create the perfect gaming case this time round?

Now, the Nine Hundred Two builds on this design with improved airflow and dominating style. Benchmarkreviews is now going to put this statement to the test and see just how much the Antec Nine Hundred Two has Evolved. Considering the original Nine Hundred was released in January 2006, you could say that it's design was due for a little re-freshening, although a lot of people might disagree with that.

Antec’s Performance One chassis range has evolved greatly over the years from the original P180 which has then taken on a series of updates, revisions and improvements with the latest edition being the P183.Due to these cases being compatible with all form factor motherboards up to and including ATX, the chassis are understandably large and spacious. With this in mind, Antec created the mini P180 aimed at the more niche market – users with micro-ATX rigs. While a low-end PC used mainly for internet or word processing might be fine tucked away in the drawer of a desk and enclosed in the least expensive case you can find, the same is not true of any gaming or enthusiast computer.
