Cases
There are some designs in the case world that are iconic, the original Coolermaster Stacker, NZXT’s original Lexa Blackline and certainly Antec’s P183. Today we look at the latest revision of this classic design, the v3. It comes with the same USB 3.0 and SSD mount features as the P193, Nine Hundred and Twelve Hundred, but is this design modern enough to hold its own?
Cases
Antec are a company that are prepared to make changes and revisions to products in order to further improve them and create top quality products. The P180 from the Performance One series was the first in a series and today we have the latest revision of this design – the P183. The P180 which was launched some time ago now was an instant hit, the P182 even better and hopefully the P183 that we have here today can improve upon an already highly impressive product. Antec have a great reputation for their cases so this should be of the highest order; let’s take a look.
Cases
Launched in 2005, the original Antec P180 case was immediately welcomed into the industry as one of the best cases of the year. A few years and a few revisions later, we find ourselves in the presence of its latest successor: the Antec Performance One P183 mid-tower case. While the basic design remains the same, Antec took their end-user feedback to heart and implemented several highly requested changes. Today at Benchmark Reviews, we look at those changes and find out how the Antec P183 stacks up against another recently launched enthusiast case: the CM Storm.
Cases
Antec P183 is a high-end mid-tower case launched under their Performance One series. It is based on Antec P193 but with the side fan and one of the top fans removed and also with the remaining top fan reduced from 140-mm to 120-mm, making it cheaper than P193. Let's see what you should expect from P183.
Cases
Antec has followed the motto 'If it's not broke, don't fix it', for some time now with their Performance One series of cases. The core function and style of the case is retained but they have made a few tweaks to improve on it. There is greater airflow with the improved vents in the front door and drive bay covers. As with its other siblings, the P183 is made of quality materials and is therefore quite sturdy and strong.
Cases
Antec has been the top choice for system builders and hardware enthusiasts for almost a decade now, which is quite surprising when you consider the competition. But the good old days of beige box computer cases with plenty of fans lining the inside are long gone. To achieve market dominance in 2009, you have to manufacturer a product that features everything more would consider desirable. While visiting with Mr. Han Liu, Antec's product development director present at the 2009 International CES, Benchmark Reviews discussed the Antec P1000 gaming chassis prototype.
Cases
A few days ago a friend of mine decided to go out and purchase several hardware components to build a small HTPC to place right next to the TV set he has inside the living room. The problem was that since he's not much into mITX and mATX mainboards (neither am i to be honest) he had to find the ideal ATX compatible midi tower that would feel right at home in his living room both in terms of design/appearance and of course low noise levels. Unfortunately although the market is filled with a virtually infinite number of PC Cases there aren't that many midi towers that feature noise-absorbing coating so it did prove to be a somewhat difficult search. Antec sent us their latest and quite elegant P100 Midi Tower roughly a month ago so the moment he called asking for my opinion on the matter i knew exactly what to recommend.
Cases
With a large amount of cheap cases on the market, Antec go for the no frills option for their latest chassis; the Antec One.
Cases
Some of the finer features of the Antec One mid-tower case include the two 120mm exhaust fans, tool-less drive installation, power supply intake filter, power supply anti-vibration feet, large CPU bracket cut-out, and plenty of options for cable routing. This is all offered without the premium price that enthusiast cases typically have.

Today we are looking at a Special Edition Antec One Hundred Case … a window version. These are proving to be popular alternatives to standard cases as they allow you to show off that fabulous gaming rig with the latest water-cooling system, or new LED ram.
