Thermaltake has a real gem in the Lanbox chassis. The design and styling elements join to produce a small, portable case that not only performs very well, but also is relatively easy to work in, given the space limitations. And, it looks as good as it performs. Its sleek, classy look garnered a lot of attention around here, and it's easy to see why. The all aluminum construction keeps the Lanbox light while the modular design keeps it strong.

The original Level 10 is widely regarded as one of the most stunning chassis of all time. Whatever your feelings about the thermals, weight and price – it stands alone as one of the most amazing designs ever. The only real issues were the ones we have listed. But price was one of the biggest. Thermaltake says that it’s now ready to launch a lower priced model. KitGuru went to investigate.
Last weekend KitGuru was reporting from Multiplay’s i40 where we caught a glimpse of Thermaltake’s range-topping Level 10 case which made us very excited. So we had a word with the kind people at Thermaltake who let us have it for review.
Thermaltake have been in the market for quite some time and have always been known for making some of the weirdest and wonderful products on the market. This ranges from cooling products to cases and as time goes on, more style gets added to their quirky range of products.

Last year Thermaltake introduced an iconic looking chassis that while it wasn’t the greatest in terms of cooling or practicality, the original Level 10 was certainly a head turner; even if it was just to look at the £500+ price tag.

Today, the Level 10 GT has been transformed and camouflaged into the Level 10 GT Battle Edition. This case is clearly designed for lovers of first person shooter games, featuring a military green army oriented colour scheme.
In 2010 Thermaltake partnered with BMW to design a unique chassis for their 10 year anniversary, the result was the artful Level 10 case. The BMW designers came up with a free standing tower chassis that featured individual compartments for each of the computer components. Needless to say this case was big, expensive and looked amazing. The expensive part is what kept most users from buying this piece of history and which we believe lead the Thermaltake designers to create the case featured in this review.
