Cases
Over the years we have seen many new products come onto the market from Antec and every now and again they release a fresh updated version of an existing product. The Solo II bears no surprises that its predecessor is the original Solo case that was built around a concept of a very quiet yet high performing chassis. The Solo II continues this trend whilst also taking trends from the Sonata series of cases that offer convenience, ease of access and most of all - simple yet elegant aesthetics.
Cases
Antec is known for making a variety of quality cases to suit different needs, with its Sonata family aiming to deliver clean styling, functionality and silence all in one. The SOLO II becomes the latest entry to that family, and in some ways, it's very different than other silent cases on the market. It's time to find out if that's a good thing.
Cases
Stark, quiet and commanding; like a monolith, the Solo II has an immaculate appearance which belies its sophistication. By listening and responding to the demands of their customers, Antec has perpetuated the viability of the popular Sonta series of quiet computing cases. They've realized that the quiet computing segment contains gamers and system builders with needs beyond pure aesthetics. With a few system tweaks and upgrades (can you say large video cards?) Antec has targeted the intersection between elegance and functionality. At Benchmark Reviews we appreciate when our collective voice reaches the manufacturers. In this article we'll see exactly what Antec "heard" and whether or not they listen as well as their competitors.
Cases
I love cases. If you’ve read any of my other case reviews, I swoon over them. Like a teenage girl yet to hit puberty swoons over a barely yet badly thought-out vampire who gets shiny in sunlight and eats animals. My getting to play with a new case is like a car lover getting a new body that is completely bare, just begging for new interior and a fast engine. Nothing is better than taking off the side and peering in to see what kind of crap you can cram in there.
Cases
Silence is golden, as the saying goes. If this is so, then should Antec have their new midi tower PC case hallmarked? They say it's a silent operator, and we shall find out if this is true in our in-depth review.
Cases
Cases
Antec is bringing to the market another version from their Sonata case, called Sonata Elite, which follows the same design concept from Sonata III 500, which we have already reviewed. Today we are going to see what is new on Sonata Elite and the main differences between the two Sonatas.
Cases
Cases
Antec's Sonata Proto is not flashy or loaded with fans but that is more than acceptable. The Proto is a solidly built case with and a simple and elegant design.
Cases
Even though primarily known for their chassis, Antec has already expanded their influence in different direction with quality hardware. Their chassis are usually very unique and we have reviewed such cases by Antec before. Everyone likes to show off their cool cases with unique designs but that's not everyones goal especially in budget builds.
