Cases
The Thermaltake Urban S31 Mid Tower case is designed to have a simple appearance without cutting out features. The Urban S31 has a brushed aluminum finish on the front door panel, covering the external drive bays while leaving the I/O ports accessible. Front I/O ports include two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 Ports, and audio in and out jacks. There is also a 2.5”/3.5” HDD docking station on the top of the case, offering an easy way to swap hard drives. Both the 5.25” and 3.5” drive bays feature a tool-free design making the installation easy to accomplish. The Thermaltake Urban S31 has a cooling system made up of two preinstalled 120mm fans and plenty of optional mounting locations for additional cooling.

Today I will be taking a look at the latest entry to the Thermaltake chassis range, they're all new Urban S31. There are two main models for this chassis, one without a side panel and one with, but I'm lucky enough today to have hold of the edition with the side panel window.
Priced at around £90 for the windowed edition, or £85 for the non windowed its safe to say that this chassis isn't cheap, as you approach the £100 mark your entering some extremely competitive territory, where anyone spending that kind of money is looking to build a mid to high-end performance rig. For this kind of money you want support for modern features and components, good style and design, great build quality and usually something extra that makes the chassis stand out from the crowd, something that isn't so much a gimmick, but something that adds true value to the product.
Thermaltake have a fantastic reputation in the PC market, not only from their award-winning chassis designs, but also for some of the best power supplies and CPU coolers and with many years of knowledge under their belt I'm confident that they can make a great product.
Cases
Thermaltake has always been known for their superb case design and quality throughout the years. This time they are back with a Mid Tower offering in the same price range as many leading competitors with the enthusiast additions we have come to expect. Present are the optimized ventilation, cable management and tool-free bays we all love to see delivered in an aesthetically minimalist package. Will the Urban S21 prove to be a hit or end up as just another option? Joins me as we give it the once over and see if the Urban Mid Tower stacks up.
Cases
