If you´re looking for a Mini-ITX computer case for your new "high-efficiency" platform the Antec ISK 310-150 might be the right product for your needs. In 2009, some Mini-ITX motherboards were launched based on the Intel Atom platform. Antec quickly response was the ISK 300-65. At this moment, many other brands like Zotac, ECS, ASUS or even ASRock have taken the Mini-ITX market and expanded it to make the HTPCs powerful and affordable. There was still a limiting since many products offered low power PSUs (65 watts is simply not enough). If you want a Mini-ITX H55 paired with the Intel Core i3/Core i5 CPUs you need at least a 150 watts PSU to make sure you won´t have power-related problems. Benchmark Reviews tests the Antec ISK 310-150 which offers a new, elegant front finish with a 150 watts Flex-ATX PSU to power your system.

Just a few months ago, we took a look at the rather fantastic and affordable Antec ISK-110, which features a 90w built-in PSU and room for a mini-ITX motherboard. It was perfect for mounting on the back of your monitor, making it a very compact and space-saving desktop system that is ideal for offices; I should know, I’m using one for my spare workstation and it’s brilliant! Today we’ll be taking a look at something a little higher up the price and specification range, the Antec ISK 310-150, much like its little brother, it comes with support for a mini-ITX motherboard and it’s fairly small, although still bigger than the ISK110. It also features a built-in PSU, but the maximum power has been upped to 150w, giving you much more headroom for a high-end CPU or APU based system.

With the recent purchase of a new Samsung TV for my living room, I took the Thermaltake Element Q and set the ZOTAC board to work on a more daily basis in my HTPC setup. As time went on, I realized I was streaming a lot of the movies from the router and had little use for the optical drive I had installed. The second thing that I came to notice was that the onboard video was more than capable of running my TV, so I could ditch the VGA and lessen the electrical draw. This left me wanting another chassis to try out in my HTPC setup that was built more to my new found needs.

Today I will be taking a look at the ISK110, a M-ITX chassis solution from Antec. The ISK110 has a few stand out features that I'm keen to take a look at today, first of all is it's overall size, with it being barely larger than an M-ITX motherboard, it's built in PSU and it's VESA mounting capabilities.

A while ago we reviewed Antec ISK300-65, which proved to be a nice mini ITX case. This other case, however, comes with an external power supply, with a DC-DC converter module inside the case to convert the 19 V provided by the external power supply into the voltages required by the PC (+12 V, +5 V, +3.3 V, etc). On the new ISK300-150, Antec added an internal 150 W power supply, which allows you to install a more powerful system. Let's see if this new version is as good as the previous version.

Benchmark Reviews recently called on the Antec ISK300-65 Mini-ITX HTPC computer case to complete our NVIDIA ION Home Theater PC project. The lightweight mITX case offers a 65W power supply and room for a slim optical drive and 2.5" SSD or HDD. The Antec ISK300 fits two 80mm fans along the side, which help exhaust heated air out of the enclosure. Enthusiast can stand the ISK300 case upright, allowing this HTPC enclosure to fit nicely beside other entertainment center electronics.

All the benefits of liquid cooling without the mess and the potential for disaster, fortunately it seems that Antec thought of everything when they put out the Kuhler 620 - easy installation, quality cooling and solid performance. What more could you ask for?
