Watercooling
For true CPU cooling performance and silence, air cooling is not thought to be the solution. You need water cooling. It seems a scary concept – cooling your processor with water – which is why many enthusiasts steer clear of the idea. Moreover, it can be costly with an average kit easily topping the £100 mark.
Watercooling
Having recently reviewed a cadre of big block, multi-heat pipe air coolers it is about time to switch things up and today that is exactly what we will do by taking a look at an AIO water-cool solution enthusiasts have been anticipating. Back in July, many were troubled by the news that Swiftech would be ceasing sales on its popular H220 AIO/DIY hybrid cooling kit due to a patent dispute. While some chose to import units, others simply took the news in stride and searched elsewhere for their cooling hardware. Today is the day that all ends as Cooler Master have partnered with Swiftech to bring us a spiritual successor in the form of the Glacier 240L.
Watercooling
You have probably noticed there are a lot of AIO coolers on the market today. It seems like every other week a company is launching a new AIO unit, or a new company is bringing their first to market. Most of these units are built by watercooling systems manufacturer Asetek. Today we’re going to take a look at the Cooler Master Seidon 240M, this one is designed and built in house by Cooler Master…or is it? Follow along as we put this controversial cooler through it’s paces and find out what it can do.
Watercooling
Cooler Master finally enters the AIO market and has given us the Seidon 240M for testing.
Watercooling
Everyone know Cooler Master and their Gamer Cases. But in this review we will look at something completely different. It is the Cooler Master Seidon 240M Liquid CPU Cooler - a closed system with dual fan radiator and CPU block with built in 12 volt pump.
Watercooling
Cooler Master's Seidon 120M impressed us a while back with its solid price to performance ratio, offering similar performance to the competition at a price that was quite a bit lower. The Seidon 240M promises to do a similar thing, although this is very much a "budget" attempt at a premium product - so while the Enermax ELC 240, Corsair H100i and Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme all cost £88, £92 and £105 respectively, the Cooler Master Seidon 240M promises to come to market at around £80 which is about 10-20% cheaper than the competition.

Everyone know Cooler Master and their Gamer Cases. But in this review we will look at
something completely different. It is the Cooler Master Seidon 120XL Liquid CPU Cooler -
a closed system with a single fan radiator and CPU block with built in 12 volt pump.
Watercooling
Up for review today I have another CPU cooler, but this one is liquid based. Cooler Master has sent over the Seidon 120XL all-in-one liquid cooling system which is a closed loop setup that requires virtually no maintenance from the end user besides blowing the dust out of of the radiator every once in a while. The Seidon 120XL features the ability to use one of two of the included 120mm fans, how many you use will depend on your needs of course, but I found that using either one of two the Seidon is very quiet and performs extremely well at keeping the CPU cool either at stock or even at overclocked speeds. The Seidon 120XL is very well made and fairly easy to install as well. So read on to learn more and how everything works…

The Cooler Master Seidon 120XL is a liquid cooling system for processors. It has a 120 mm radiator with two 120 mm fans. Let's test it.
Watercooling
Over the last few years All-in-one (AiO) water coolers have become the dominate cooling solution for enthusiasts and for good reason. AiO coolers offer exceptional thermal performance in a more compact package than traditional heatsinks and they tend to require less airflow, making them quieter to boot. The only issue with the current state of the AiO market is most coolers are designed by two companies, CoolIT and Aestek. With this being the case there is very little difference between the various coolers available when it comes to thermal performance, acoustics and style.
