Im heutigen Artikel können wir eine weitere, kleine Auswahl von CPU-Wasserkühlern vorstellen. Diesmal werden der Alphacool Niagara, der Watercool Heatkiller 3.0 in der günstigen LC-Version, der Koolance CPU-350AC sowie der Ybris Eclipse ausgiebig durchgetestet und mit allen bisher vertretenen Kühlern verglichen. The boxed cooler had big problems keeping the CPU stable at 3.4Ghz. It was just stable enough to run prime custom 20K FFT. Trying to boot at 3.5Ghz resulted in lockups, BSOD's or straight errors when starting prime. When the testing was over I immediately removed the motherboard from the PC. Imagine it takes a few minutes to do so, then I started to remove the stock cooler, I can assure you it was still very hot. Its fan also spun flat out all the time during the test and was very audible. With the TRUE doing the cooling, the rig behaved far better. Squeezing 22°C off the boxed cooler is already very nice. Even testing at 3.5Ghz was no issue. More however, was limited by this particular CPU we tested. The Corsair H50 continued to impress me, by gaining 2°C over the TRUE setup.
There are a lot of choices on the market today to cool your CPU, which range from all-in-one kits to modular kits, but by far the Domino from CoolIT is one of the best we have seen.

If you have ever pondered water cooling a computer, after a bit of shopping around I'm sure you will have seen the Swiftech brand in all aspects of your shopping list. When I got my start in water cooling, the Swiftech pumps came highly recommended; I just wish I had been directed to their radiators a little sooner than I had. When I started out, I had to use very high CFM fans on radiators that worked, but had a high FPI count, and really impeded the air flow through the radiators; hence the need for the loud, high CFM producing fans. If you read my review of the Danger Den GTX 470 block, I grabbed a Swiftech radiator for testing those and I was very pleased with the amount of heat that radiator is able to remove from the water, and I only needed 60 CFM fans to get those results. With that build came hours and hours of prep and set up time. Accounting for all of the barb, angled fitting, and multiple parts to connect to can drag the build out, an d almost drive you insane looking for the cleanest, yet still attractive layout.
Twelve months ago there were two major players in the factory sealed liquid cooler market, Corsair with their H50 and H70 models and CoolIT with their ECO and Vantage products. All four products were impressive in their own right and these two manufacturers were competing against each other for the same consumers, each looking for reviews and user experience to show their cooler in the best light.

Corsair has yet to release a liquid CPU cooler we haven't been impressed by, and the H100 doesn't become an exception. Building on what made the H80 such an impressive performer, the H100 doubles the radiator length, enabling support for up to 4 fans. One thing it proves? Bigger can indeed be better.
