AIO or All-In-One liquid coolers have become very popular in recent years, offering better capability than top-of-the-line air coolers without all the noise typically associated with fast spinning fans and without the hassle and setup of custom liquid cooling loops. The Tundra TD02 features a dual 120mm brazed fin aluminum radiator that is 45mm thick. Coupled with that are two 120mm PWM-controlled fans and an all-metal housing pump with copper base and nickel-plated aluminum body.

The build up to SilverStone's Tundra series of All-In-One closed loop liquid CPU coolers has been a very exciting one for me. While quite a few of news sites falsely reported that the Tundra is based on a collaboration between SilverStone and Asetek/CoolIT, the Tundra series is unique because it is entirely in-house. That means SilverStone designed everything themselves from the ground up. The model we have here today is the flagship Tundra TD02, the 240mm radiator based version, and this unit (like the TD04) uses an aluminium unibody and has some rather unique aesthetics. Aluminium and alloy is are the materials of choice throughout the majority of the product's construction making it both high quality and unique looking.

Silverstone’s recent commitment to high end cooling is clearly on display in their new Tundra TD02 and TD03 AiO liquid coolers. We have appreciated (and many times marveled at) Silverstone’s engineering and build quality in the past, and they have carried this over to make the 240mm Tundra TD02 and 120mm TD03 truly unique in the world of AiO coolers. At first glance, it is very noticeable that the radiator is thicker than what has come before, measuring at 45mm, but even the Tundra’s fins have been changed to use a planar fin that offers up to 40% more heat dissipation than traditional fins. Elsewhere in the Tundra’s makeup, we find a unique lack of plastic components we are accustomed to, and find them replaced with metals. The pump housing and block of the Tundra TD02 and TD 03 uses a patented screwless design, and is comprised entirely of metal. This lessens chances of leaks, as well as improving overall strength and durability. The mounting kit for the block again replaces plastic and thin metal clips with forged aluminum, and a design that makes for incredibly easy installation on all current Intel and AMD sockets. Both the TD02 and TD03 are equipped with dual 120mm fans capable of 90.5 cfm at 2500 rpm, but produce only 18 dBA at full speed for a quiet experience. Unique radiator trim is finished in white with silver surround around the radiator, and is perfect for painting for those looking to mod. The Tundras are completed with 330mm white corrugated FEP tubing.

Sporting the same patented fin design of the TD03 with claims of 40% higher cooling efficiency, new 120mm fans on a 240mm long, 45mm thick radiator and a custom water block, the SilverStone Tundra SST-TD02 All-In-One Liquid CPU Cooler that Benchmark Reviews has received for testing has huge potential. In fact, after the surprising performance of the 120mm push/pull TD03, SilverStone Technology, Co., Ltd. sent out the larger TD02 to go toe-to-toe with the reigning champ of the coolers I’ve tested so far: the Swiftech H220. The Silverstone Tundra TD03 is one of the most unusual 120mm water coolers I’ve seen, it stands out in a market that is crowded by Asetek water coolers that are all pretty much identical. Silverstone have a legendary reputation for their engineering prowess and there’s no way they’re going to import a 3rd party design for their cooler. It was this unique design that meant I had to get one in for review, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and I really wanted to see if Silverstones design was better than all the other models that are available on the market these days.

Après le gros H100, nous voilà arrivés sur son petit frère, le H80. Il propose aussi la carte de la performance, et ce dans un encombrement moindre. Il concurrence directement un Kühler 920… D’un point de vue tarifaire, il n’est pas bien loin de son grand frère. La question est, de fait, de savoir s’il est judicieux d’opter pour l’un ou pour l’autre. Quels sont les avantages du H80 par rapport au H100 ? La funzionalità e il design sono quindi elementi chiave ricercati dall’utente, che vuole un prodotto prima di tutto efficace per le sue esigenze, ma che gli permetta anche di distinguersi dalla massa. Il Lamptron CW611 è probabilmente uno di quei controller in grado di fare la differenza, sia a livello funzionale, per il quale l’azienda introduce per la prima volta il supporto ufficiale a pompe e flussimetri, sia a livello estetico, grazie al design pulito ed elegante. Oggi siamo lieti di presentarvi la recensione di un dissipatore a liquido a circuito integrato, top di gamma del famosissimo marchio Enermax, stiamo parlando del modello ELC-240! Similmente a molti modelli della concorrenza, si contraddistingue per un radiatore da 240mm, compatibile quindi con due coppie di ventole da 120mm; il waterblock presenta una pompa integrata e quindi le dimensioni saranno davvero molto contenute. Queste soluzioni cominciano a rappresentare la punta di diamante dei moderni sistemi di dissipazione per CPU, anche se è indubbio che le moderne soluzioni ad aria continuano a rappresentare validissime soluzioni, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il connubio rumorosità e potenza dissipante. Negli ultimi anni abbiamo assistito al fiorire delle soluzioni AIO, ma sono stati introdotti dissipatori aventi tecnologie proprietarie, tra cui il vapor chamber, sia orizzontale nel caso delle soluzioni Sapphire, che verticale nel caso di Coolermaster.
