Today for review I've got the new Arctic MX-4 thermal compound from Arctic Cooling. This new compound improves on the MX-3 in that it's easier to apply and it's less expensive as well. The performance isn't exactly record shattering, but it does better than the couple others I put it up against, so I guess that counts as something right? Read on..
The NZXT Grid Fan Hub is slim & compact, looks great, 10 fan connections, comes with adhesive Velcro, fans cables and power lead for easy setup. If you need to add a lot of fans in a hurry, this is it.
Today, CoolIT sent me the Vantage A.L.C. to have a look at and strap up to the T.E.C.C. for a bit of torture. Without giving too much away, just think ECO, lights, LCD readout, and hidden options yet to be seen. I know, I know; who wants to buy a cooler with options you can't use right? With the Vantage, this isn't the case at all. The cooler is fully functional as is and a blast to play around with and see just what fits my mood for the day.

Kürzlich erreichte uns ein weiterer Lüfter der Firma Noctua. Und zwar handelt es sich um den NF-A14PWM 140mm Lüfter, der besonders gut für Radiatoren geeignet sein soll. Noctua konnte bisher mit einer überragenden Leistung und Verarbeitungsqualität punkten und gehört somit in den Bereichen Lüfter
und Kühler zu einem der führenden Hersteller. Ob diese Tugenden mit dem NF-A14PWM weiter fortgesetzt werden und wie gut sich der Lüfter wirklich für Radiatoren eignet, soll der folgende Test klären.
Our summer vacation timeout is almost upon us and although it will roughly be just 5-6 days long that doesn't mean that it will be solely fun and pleasure. So during these 3 days all of us will be testing several compact electronic devices (obviously we can't really test PC hardware while on vacations) such as portable battery packs, portable speakers, Wi-Fi sharing drives/devices, action cameras, Bluetooth wireless headsets and of course normal wired headsets since we really don't want to fall back on our review schedule (if we did that would mean more work for us once we get back). However until we take our short leave (should be the 12th of August if all goes according to plan) there are quite a few hardware reviews left to share with all of you including the one regarding the latest CPU Cooler by be quiet! the Shadow Rock 2.
Bei Meisterkühler findet zum zweiten Mal vom 9.1. bis zum 30.4.2012 die Deutsche Kühlerbau Meisterschaft statt. An dieser Aktion kann sich jeder Hobbybastler und Wasserkühlungsfan beteiligen. Ziel der Aktion ist es die Begeisterung für Selfmade-Wasserkühler wieder zu wecken. Dabei kann jeder mit seiner eigenen Kreation eines CPU-Wasserkühlers in einer von drei Kategorien am Wettbewerb teilnehmen. In der Highend Klasse wurden bereits einige gute Worklogs gestartet, die mit Hilfe eines durchdachten Kühlkonzepts vielleicht sogar kommerzielle Kühler schlagen könnten. Um den Performance-Award zu gewinnen sollte der Eigenbau-Kühler sich möglichst gut auf dem Prüfstand von Meisterkühler schlagen oder z.B. in der Bewertungskategorie "Design" die User des Meisterkühler-Forums überzeugen können. The last time we saw something from Scythe it took an honorable 3rd place in 120mm air cooled coolers. With performance like that out of a typical sized air cooler, I was impressed. It did take some unique designing in the fins and a rather powerful fan to reach 3rd place, but in this game, you have to do what it takes to offer one of the best air coolers. With all the options for you to choose from, if you aren’t on top, you are likely to get passed right up as buyers browse the shelf in search of the “next big thing”. In steps, advice from people like myself and I may or may not turn you onto a product you may have never even thought to give a second look. Today might just be one of those days.
The Aegir CPU cooler from Xigmatek sports a heatpipe cooling system named D.L.H.D.T. (Double Layer with Heat Pipe Direct Touch) first seen in their CPU cooler dubbed "Thor's Hammer"; the new Aegir is ships with one PWM LED fan which can easily be controlled by the motherboard.
