Thermaltake is a thermal & cooling computer peripherals vendor which does not sound strange and in fact they are one of the world leading vendors. Thermaltake always gives us surprise with their new products; either with outstanding design, superb performance or both. Today we will have a look on their latest Frio CPU cooler; Frio OCK after 12 months later of their first Frio CPU cooler.
The biggest gaming sports event of the year is upon us - the new release of the ever successfulMadden football game - dubbed ‘NFL 10’ in its latest incarnation. The game hits the retail market on the 14th of August and now arrives with new modes, broadcast style presentation changes and new gameplay tweaks. Thermalright's products have never been reviewed by eTeknix before. I am quite excited to get started with Thermalright products as they are one of the most recognised CPU cooler brands for high performance air cooling alongside Noctua and Phanteks.
Thermalright only operate in the performance segment of the market and the majority of the CPU coolers are what you might call enthusiast class - even the smaller form factor ones. They are certainly not beginners having been in the industry since 2001 and their claim to historical fame is they were the first company to start manufacturing copper based CPU coolers all the way back in 2001 whilst everyone else was still stuck on aluminium designs.

Enermax dürfte den meisten PC Nutzern besonders durch seine hochwertigen Netzteile ein Begriff sein, doch auch in puncto Lüfter weiß der aus Taiwan stammende Hersteller zu überzeugen. Today Thermaltake has given me the chance to look at a cooler that has brought attention everywhere it shows up. Not only does this cooler come in an attractive red and black color scheme, it seems to really produce great results. If you haven't figured it out by now, I am talking about Thermaltake's Frio CPU Cooler. This is a 220W monster with dual fans and over 100CFM of air flow.
NZXT's Respire series comprises of both the Respire T40 and T20. We have already taken a look at the Respire T40 which you can read here. The NZXT Respire T20 is a cut down version of the Respire T40 so naturally the price is a bit lower and thus the performance will also be lower too. The big question though, is "how much lower will the performance be than the Respire T40"?
I was impressed with the Gladiator Max's performance. While not being the #1 victor, it wasn't far behind, and was without a doubt standing far above any of those it defeated. The performance could still be increased by using a high performance thermal paste, so that is definitely something to keep in mind if you're looking to squeeze a little more juice out of it.
ProlimaTech and the Armageddon, totally surpassing all other coolers benchmarked today, delivered outstanding performance. Personally, I’m very impressed with the Armageddon, and it’s only real fault is the mounting system. Priced at sixty-five dollars, the Armageddon is in the same ballpark as most other high-end coolers, but does not include fans.
The Vapor 120 performed impressively. The Dimple Effect on the fins appeared to do its job, as the Vapor 120 uses only three heat pipes, albeit using Heat pipe Direct Touch, and stayed on par with other heat sinks using four heat pipes and a much larger fin array.
