While the Thermaltake SpinQ VT CPU cooler may not be capable of extreme cooling, it performs very ell when compared to other high performance air coolers; and it looks really cool while doing it. Another plus is that it doesn't create much noise at all, and even at high speed it was barely audible over the other components in the test system.

In this review we’ll be looking at an innovative and new cooler from ThermalTake called the SpinQ. The SpinQ is a very unique heatsink in that it employs a heatpipe design that is cooled internally by a large and powerful squirrel cage blower.
Thermaltake's SpinQ heatsink is undeniably good looking. It stands 152mm tall and is made from nickel plated aluminum fins soldered over six copper heatpipes. creates an eleven-sided helix that resembles a cheese grater on steroids. Nestled in the middle is an 80mm diameter, 85mm long squirrel cage fan that draws air in through both center openings and expels it out in all directions through the 20mm wide circular cooling fins.
