Today’s video cards can run extremely hot and Arctic Cooling has shown once again its Accelerro line of coolers is up to the task. The XTREME Plus not only cools extremely well but unlike Accelerro’s of the past offers a cross GPU compatibility, only requiring the need of an accessory pack. This design allows for easy updating to future video cards.

Today for review I've got the new Arctic Cooling Alpine 11 Pro CPU cooler. This cooler is small in size, and it's actually compatible with both LGA775 and 1155/1156 sockets so you'll be able to use it on that new upgrade you're planning on doing. The Alpine Pro 11 is a black style cooler, meaning it's a solid block of aluminum, no fancy heatpipes, this is old-school style cooling at its finest. I've put it up against the stock Intel cooler on my C2Q6600 CPU for comparison and found it's a decent upgrade over the stock cooling solution. It's small size make it great if you're short on room in your case, and it's silent as well, so it might make a nice cooler for an HTPC setup.

With the new socket release by Intel, Arctic Cooling has responded to it with their new series of CPU cooler in May 2009; Alpine 11. Among these Alpine 11 coolers, we will take a look on Alpine 11 Pro which is the highest end CPU coolers among the rest of the two coolers. Basically Arctic Cooling Alpine 11 Pro is an entry CPU cooler which is targeting entry market with limited budget.

We tested Alpine 11 Pro CPU cooler from Arctic Cooling, which focuses on silence. Will it perform well against the "giant ones"?

Take for example the Arctic Cooling Alpine 11 Pro heatsink Frostytech is testing today. It's a dead simple extruded aluminum cooler, good for mainstream Intel socket 775 and 1156 processors with a TDP up to about 90W. The patented Arctic Cooling 95mm suspended fan spins at 500-2000RPM, but from the test results we've seen it's best to keep the PWM fan spinning at full tilt.

Today we are going to look at one of Arctic’s low profile CPU coolers … the Alpine 64 Plus, which is designed to be used exclusively with AMD processors. This makes it ideal for use in small form factor systems or HTPCs. We imagine many users will purchase this cooler to use in combination with one of AMDs Vision A8 APUs in a media system where acoustics and performance are both important considerations.

With the release of AMD's socket FM1 Fusion A8-3850 processors late last year there's been a growing need for inexpensive yet relatively quiet CPU coolers of moderate power. The 'Llano' processor only has a 100W TDP and costs just over $120 bucks, so expensive tower heatpipe coolers can be a little bit of an overkill. Arctic Cooling's Alpine 64 Plus heatsink is one economical option to consider; it's rated for 100W and stands 70mm tall so it fits in most media PC cases with ease.

Today we are going to test Alpine 64 Pro, a low-cost CPU cooler for AMD processors from Arctic Cooling. This cooler features a traditional design, with a 92-mm fan and no heatpipes. But how about its performance? Let's check it out!

Few things are more important than keeping your computer well ventilated and cool. Overheating can lead to your computer turning off on you, sluggish work and worst of all, damaged hardware. One of the principal parts to keep cool is the CPU, using a high-quality CPU cooler that will throw away the heat your CPU generates. Today, I've got a great cooler up for review – Arctic Cooling's Alpine 64 Pro cooler. While the Alpine 64 Pro presents itself as a very straightforward looking extruded aluminum heatsink, it has a lot of high quality components and design aspects that make it a very effective device for sufficient cooling and very low noise production.
