Heatpipes are among THE most important components of a modern heatsink, but not all heatpipes are created equal. The problem for consumers is that you can't see what's inside a sealed copper tube embedded in a heatsink. You simply have to trust what the manufacturer says is true, unless you want to destroy a rather expensive heatsink... so Frostytech did just that.

Today we are looking at the latest cooler from Arctic – the Freezer i30, which features an interchangeable 120mm PWM fan, 4 double sided direct touch heatpipes with cooling support up to 320 Watts. The i30 is released to exclusively support Intel motherboards.

Today we are taking a look at the Gamer Storm Lucifer CPU cooler. With six 6 mm heat pipes, a mirror finish copper base and a fanless design the Lucifer promises to “devour the heat”. The big question is, can this cooler hold its own against cooling giants such as the Noctua DH-14 and Phanteks PH-TC14PE?

Are you a fan of cooling efficiency, bling, and especially the two combined? If so, COUGAR’s CFD Dual-X LED fans are worth checking out. Ideally spec’d as fans to line the interior of your chassis, only part of the CFD series’ goal is to keep things cool. The other half is to make your PC stand out, both with its bright LEDs and aggressive design.

When we published our Core i7-980X Review we showed the new cooler that comes with this CPU, named DBX-B. Some readers asked us for a complete review of this cooler, so here it is. See if the owners of this high-end six-core CPU need to buy a CPU cooler with a higher performance if DBX-B will do the trick if they want to overclock their CPU.
