Aircooling
Starting the day with a nice trip to the nearest beach (it may just be 20 miles away but with that much traffic it gets to be an entire trip until you actually get there) is perhaps the only reason as to why i would ever feel exhausted enough to think about doing a review (too much heat tends to do that). Still for me at least work almost always goes before pleasure and since CPU Coolers from pretty much every manufacturer around have been piling in our lab (i hardly have room for more) i thought it would be nice if i finally started working on them (besides it makes sense especially in the summer). So for the past 2 days on our test bench we have the latest CPU Cooler by Alpenfoehn, the mid-end Matterhorn PURE.
Aircooling
With excellent cooling efficiency and a price tag to match the latest massive CPU Air Cooler by Alpenfoehn which listens to the name K2 goes up against equally large award winning units like the Phanteks PH-TC14PE and the Noctua NH-D14. The only real question is just how well it does and once again we’re here to find out for you.

Akasa is a company most famous for their cooling products, even though they have diversified into other market areas over the years. We have reviewed many of their products over the past few years, including PSUs, computer cases and notebook accessories. Today we are going to have a look at their latest mainstream CPU cooler, the X4.

This was my first experience with a cooler from Akasa, and overall I am pleased with the Venom Voodoo. The Venom Voodoo is nicely built, easy to install, has a style that is not like most coolers on the market...

With two S-Flow 120mm PWM Viper Yellow fans in push and pull configuration, six all-copper 6mm heatpipes and H.D.T technology the latest Venom Voodoo CPU Cooler by Akasa is a definite improvement over the original Venom.

This time we are testing the Akasa Venom Voodoo, a CPU cooler with a tower heatsink, six direct-touch heatpipes and two 120 mm fans. Check it out!

Akasa Thermal Solutions are a well known cooling brand who strive to design competitive products which leave the consumer with a happy wallet. Value for money has long been the basis behind which their main products have been designed, with this aim proving to be successful enough to allow them to vastly expand their product catalogue. Akasa’s most recent success in the CPU cooling market was via the extremely competitive and highly regarded Akasa Venom. Today we will be taking a look at the Venom’s successor; the Akasa Venom Voodoo.
Aircooling
Aftermarket cooling products is a massive market with numerous companies fighting for enthusiast money. Akasa is one of the companies fighting for position in this overcrowded market. Back in October of 2010 we looked at their original Venom cooler and today we are going to check out the new Akasa Venom Voodoo.

Looking for a new heatsink for that noisy overheating PC under your desk? Akasa's Venom Nano heatsink stands 150mm tall, weighs 560 grams and installs onto AMD socket AM2/AM3 and Intel socket 775/1156/1366 processors. Off the cuff though, it seems a little 'modest' for Intel Core i7 use, dito for AMD Black Edition chips. The Venom Nano seems better suited to mainstream processors as it offers a good range of quiet operation and ease of installation.
