Xigmatek brings new life into an old cooler design with the introduction of the Dark Knight Night Hawk Edition.

The unique design of the Nirvana NV120 PWM heatsink sees a 120mm PWM fan set within the body of the heatsink. The translucent fan blades spin at speeds of between 1800-900RPM. For a little visual flair, blue LEDs illuminate the blades. Constructed primarily of aluminum, the Nirvana NV120 PWM incorporates four 6mm diameter copper heatpipes soldered to a substantial copper base block. While many manufacturers have adopted 'exposed' heatpipe designs, Zerotherm are sticking with what works and tossing in a healthy dose of dark nickel plating

The CNPS11X Performa is another member of the CNPS11X family, like the CNPS11X Extreme that we already tested. Similar to its brother, it has a V-shaped heatsink and a 120 mm fan, but it has only four heatpipes. Let's test it and discover which one performs better.

Aftermarket cooling solutions have really stabilized over the past couple years, no longer are we seeing strange and exotic designs, and the solid blocks we find with our retail processors are the only remnants of that past technology.

In this review Frostytech is testing a novel heatsink from Beijing-based DeepCool Industries Co. called the Ice Warrior. Victorious names aside, the Ice Warrior heatsink is a 155mm tall tower heatsink that utilizes six 6mm diameter copper heatpipes and a fairly hefty copper base plate. The novel bit about this heatsink is the rubber over moulded fan it ships with.

We tested the Thermaltake Jing, a tower CPU air cooler, with five U-shaped heatpipes and two 120 mm fans. Check it out!

Today we take a look at a much more basic cooling component that no build can be without. I am, of course, talking about the simple case fan and whether you are packing your case full with the intent to air cool or just need a few good radiator fans for water cooling there are numerous choices available to you. Cooler Master seems to think they have just the answer you’ve been looking for with their JetFlo 120 and we got our hands on a pair for a quick round of testing. We will see how they stand up once installed and the air starts moving.

Zalman's CNPS5X-SZ heatsink is an updated, vertical interpretation of a 2006-era heatsink Zalman released under the CNPS8000 nomenclature. Like its forefather, the CNPS5X-SZ fills the role of a lower profile, light weight cooler that's ideally suited to sub-95W TDP processors. It's stacked aluminum fins are connected by three 6mm diameter copper heatpipes to a small aluminum base block with a thin bit of copper covering the otherwise exposed heatpipes.

This time we tested the Ice Blade Pro CPU cooler from Deepcool, which has a tower heatsink, four U-shaped 8 mm heatpipes and one 120 mm fan. Check it out!

Today we are looking at the Night Hawk Edition of the Dark Knight cooler, set to bolster Xigmateks’ ever expanding product portfolio. Xigmatek produce many chassis designs alongside a range of power supplies. They are well known for their CPU coolers such as the Xigmatek Venus XP-SD1266 which we reviewed in March.
