In the ElementS series there's two types of cases, the VK60001N2Z(the one we're reviewing), and the VK60001W2Z. The difference is simple, VK60001W2Z has a side panel 240mm fan made mainly for VGA cooling. If you are planning on getting a Crossfire or SLi solution with 2 high end cards, or just impressing your friend with a huge fan, my suggestion is to get VK60001W2Z.

At the heart of the Thermaltake ISGC-200 heatsink is a glossy white impeller that vaguely resembles the petals of a daisy. The tips of the fan blades have a little notch taken out, supposedly this reduces noise by 3% too. The ISGC-200 heatsink itself stands 140mm tall, weighs 470 grams and accommodates one 92mm PWM fan that spins at 600~1600 RPM. If I didn't know better I'd say the ISGC-200 was released for Intel's new socket 1156 formfactor processors, except that it isn't actually compatiblea with these chips at all. Instead it supports AMD 939-through to-AM3 and Intel 775 processors.

Today we are going to examine five premium coolers: ASUS Royal Knight, Noctua NH-C12P, Scythe Mugen 2, Thermalright IFX-14, and Thermaltake BigTyp14Pro. They are the best there is. Although only Scythe Mugen 2 is a new model here (taking the first steps on our market), all of them, including the true veterans Noctua NH-C12P and Thermalright IFX-14, are leading their series.

The word heatsink has always been one of those unusual words that doesn't quite fit what it actually is. Let's break it down. Heat is a form of energy associated with the motion of atoms or molecules and capable of being transmitted through solid and fluid media by conduction, convection or radiation. To sink is to fall or drop to a lower level, especially to go down in stages, or to make weaker or less forceful. Hmmm... I guess heatsink does work after all.

The biggest gaming sports event of the year is upon us - the new release of the ever successfulMadden football game - dubbed ‘NFL 10’ in its latest incarnation. The game hits the retail market on the 14th of August and now arrives with new modes, broadcast style presentation changes and new gameplay tweaks. On paper this looks to be one of the best in franchise history, today we find out if it really is.

In this review Frostytech will be testing Coolermaster's Hyper 212 Plus tower heatsink - an exposed heatpipe base cooler that comes ready out of the box for socket 1156 Intel 'Lynnfield' P55 motherboards. Naturally, it supports Intel socket 775/1366/1156 and AMD 939/AM2/AM3 processors. For whatever reason, Intel has spaced the motherboard mounting holes for socket 775, 1156 and 1366 all a little differently... but that's another story.

This time we reviewed Thermaltake ISGC-200 CPU cooler, which uses the same fan of ISGC-100 but has a completely different design, with heatsinks making "sandwiching" the fan. Will its performance be better than its "little brother"?
