Tuniq's Tower 120 Extreme is an enthusiast grade heatsink that cools very well, pretty quietly. In fact I'll save you the suspense and tell you straight up that it tops Frostytech's Intel reference chart and that it's one of the Top 5 best-ever heatsinks tested on Frostytech's AMD reference chart to date. And that's not comparing the Tower 120 Extreme against five... or even ten recent heatsinks... Frostytech.com compares it to well over 250 different heatsinks!

Today we are going to be unboxing one of largest Zalman CPU coolers we have seen and definitely the biggest CPU cooler of 2012! The CNPS12X is not only large it packs three 120mm fans, a direct-touch heatpipe design with 6 copper heatpipes and 2 large aluminum heatsink stacks. This CPU cooler is compatible with all current CPU’s including Intel’s new 2011 socket. All 3 fans run at a maximum of 1200RPM, so even though you have the 3 fans they will be pretty quiet. We have taken a look at many different types and brands of CPU coolers over the years, with each manufacturer coming up with their own unique way to control the massive amounts of heat your CPU can throw off. A new company, called V3 Components, wants to start off by introducing a cooler with little used technology called Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) – We’ll get more into the specifics on that in a bit. Vapour chambers and heatpipes work on the same principle, the difference is that vapour chambers are planar thermal devices that conduct heat in two dimensions. The two 19x3mm vapour chambers on the Coolermaster TPC-812 heatsink are double-stacked (one vapour chamber on top of three heatpipes), much like the Xigmatek Aegir. Since vapour chambers are planar devices this represents a more efficient application that piling tubular heatpipes on top of tubular heatpipes. Coolermaster's TPC-812 is the first CPU heatsink to pass our test bench employing both vapour chambers and heatpipes in one package.
For this review I will be looking at another product from our friends over at Nexus. The product under the spot light today is a new CPU cooler in the shape of the VCT-9000. As i have looked at a few Nexus cooling products before I have fairly high expectations, and I am pretty sure I won’t be disappointed.

Avec le Venom Medusa, Akasa s'est lancé dans le gros dual tower abordable, avec un tarif de 70€ environ. Avec sa finition en noir et jaune, a-t-il ce qu'il faut pour s'accorder aux dernières cartes mères et processeurs ?
Quand Noctua se met au vrai radiateur low-profile, on obtient le NH-L9, testé ici en version Intel. Une petite chose de 37mm de hauteur, qui met en avant une compatibilité complète avec les cartes mères Mini-ITX, le radiateur ne dépassant que de peu les fixations du socket. Un bon plan ?
