As a huge bonus to the buyers of the newer coolers I am seeing, the coolers themselves are getting more and more efficient, and new leaps are being made in fan designs. If I were to tell you I was using a 2000 RPM fan that would push about 60 CFM, you would assume there to be a nice hum emanating from the fan. The coolers I am seeing lately are really stepping up to the plate to offer fans of this caliber that are in actuality, very silent. One of the companies taking steps to relieve your ears is Titan.

The Titan Fenrir Siberia Edition is a huge CPU cooler with one horizontal heatsink with a 140 mm fan and a second heatsink equipped with a 120 mm fan. Let's test it.
Aircooling
Today we are taking a look at the Titan Fenrir Siberia Edition CPU cooler which has both horizontal and vertical heatsinks. As such there is clearly plenty of potential for extracting heat from the CPU, just like having two radiators in one room of your house it will greatly improve the heating effect.

Top down cooling has its advantages, though tower cooling is usually the preferred method given its compact footprint. In this review Frostytech is testing out a heatsink from Titan that aims to satisfy both tower and top-top heatsink designs, in one. The Titan Fenrir Siberia Edition TTC-NC55TZRB heatsink is built around five 8mm diameter copper heatpipes which extend in two directions from a copper base block to independent fin stacks, essentially making one large CPU cooler from separate 'tower' and 'top-down' heatsinks.

Aircooling
Today's review of the Fenrir cooler will test to see whether this is a good, great, or excellent cooler both aesthetically and through benchmarking on a Intel I7 965 Extreme Edition processor pushed to full load. The Fenrir cooler is a little more flashy than most of the competition, but at around US$50, is this more form than function, or will it pull through to be a cooler we at Tweaknews will recommend.

While the G9T is certainly serviceable around the home environment, I'm a bit troubled by Titans choice of materials and some of the design features. Starting with the cooling pad itself, the thin aluminum veneer doesn't do much to strengthen the plastic construction, and the thin metal clips, designed to stiffen the unit when deployed, don't inspire much confidence.

Today we are looking at their Titan Hati Cooler which is marketed as a mid range performance cooler priced under £30. This particular cooler has three 8mm heatpipes and is based around a tower shaped heatsink with support for dual 120mm fans. The Hati is actually a smaller version of the Fenrir CPU cooler, a formidable design from Titan.
