Akasa Thermal Solutions are a well known cooling brand who strive to design competitive products which leave the consumer with a happy wallet. Value for money has long been the basis behind which their main products have been designed, with this aim proving to be successful enough to allow them to vastly expand their product catalogue. Akasa’s most recent success in the CPU cooling market was via the extremely competitive and highly regarded Akasa Venom. Today we will be taking a look at the Venom’s successor; the Akasa Venom Voodoo.
Using one of their high quality fans and a tall heatsink the Enermax ETS-T40 is a high performance CPU cooler which is aimed at those with midrange budget. That said the cooling potential is rated at 200w so this could well be a great buy for enthusiasts too...
Standing 125mm tall, the SilenX EFZ-92HA3 heatsink is equipped with a single 92mm fan that rotates at 2200-800RPM. It has space for a second 92mm fan on the back side (rubber mounts included). At full fan speed the heatsink is pretty quiet, in part due to the fan SilenX have selected and in part because it's mounted on rubber posts which help to dampen vibrations. This diminutive cooler weighs 422grams and installs onto Intel socket 775/1155/1156/1366 and AMD socket 754/939/940/AM2/AM3/FM1 processors.
